I am the first follower on CodeJunkies blog…..hehehehe
I know its a week later, but I thought I would share this link to one of my favorite songs. This was played on the “Tribute to Heroes” telethon that was held to raise money for the 9-11 victims and families. This tribute featured many artists that played music for the telethon. This one I remember watching live, and it happens to be from two of my favorite singers. Eddie was asked if he would attend the event, and was inspired so much he wrote this song just for the telethon in only a few days.
Well done Bakrdz!
Congrats to you two, and Mom and Dad. A new generation added to the caching team! Enjoy every moment of it, and spoil him like crazy!
I just started a blog dedicated to cacheing. It is in its infancy, please help it become a great blog. You can be an author, with the ability to add content and post!! Check it out, let me know what you think, and give me some great ideas to make it better!!!
I could not imagine doing that many in that amount of time. I know I only have 160 finds to my name, but I would say I like a nice mix of quality and quantity. When we have a day that we can devote to caching we pick a general area, and then a “destination cache”. We plan out a route too and back from that cache hitting as many as we can while still keeping our sanity and enjoying each and every search. We know how much time we have, and we fit in the most “quality” caches we know we have time to do. We skip many caches that we feel are not worth the time compared to others. That is our definition of power cacheing.
All that being said..I still think it is cool that they accomplished the goal they set out to do. No matter what, that is impressive…just not our cup of joe.
Welcome aboard!
Congratulations you guys…way to go!! Sounds like a fun run you made to hit 2,000.
Welcome to the WGA…I am somewhat new here myself, and you will quickly feel like part of the family.
Oh…no need to worry, we are working on a few more as we speak. Give me a week or two, but they will be done!
Thanks for the kind words. I hope everybody finds it a challenge and enjoys the series. Thanks CodeJunkie for letting me know about that bad coordinate at Ceresco, I have updated it, and all is good.
I had a 92 ford ranger with the 4.0 v6 2WD. This thing was awesome, it was a beater so I did anything with it. I would take this thing places most people would not even attempt with 4wd, and would make it because I could total it and only be out 400 bucks. I beat the hell out of it, and it would not die. When I finally had to upgrade I sold it with 175,000 miles on it and it was working great. About 5 YEARS LATER…I ran into a guy filling it up, it had just under 400,000 miles on it!!!!! He used it every day to run stuff from Ohskosh to Milwaukee. One tranny rebuild is all he had done to it! One of the happiest days of my life. Wish I had it back for some of my caching excursions. Still have my 97 ranger, and have not had even a hiccup out of this one either.
where are they located…if they are close I would gladly adopt them.
Thanks Jim and Linda!! Not only for recommending the cache, but also for the congrats.
Well Done Jim and Linda!!
