Wow…I went online to buy my tickets for opening day this morning. The lottery winners have from 10am today until midnight tonight before the tickets go on sale to the general public tomorrow. I logged on at 11:15 and all that was left was standing room only, or $195 tickets right by the field….lets just say, we will be standing.

I could not believe that that many tickets sold in just over an hour.

We now have 6 people in the fantasy league….room for 6 more!!

Can’t wait for the season to start!!

Thank you everybody, we really did have a great time caching with the group. It was nice to hang out and also to see Pete show up afterward, it was nice chatting. We were glad we chose this cache for the milestone, we try to pick unforgettable caches, and this one definitely fit the bill. With the help of the group we were with we will remember the whole day. Thanks again!! We hope to be at 500 really soon.

Excellent ideas energy saver….my first thought was in line with your comment about knowing where to find out about that specific cache. Your solution would work fine, of making a place to look up a cache right on the WGA website.

Also, I would buy these for all of my caches in the future if I could get both sizes on one sticker, I like the two for one idea.

As promised I will be giving out prizes to the top five finishers in the league. These are the prizes I plan on giving to the top five(beside myself, if I place top 5). As of right now we have 6 teams, so everyone would get something…we need more people!!

First Place…A complete regular cache kit…Ammo box, log book, geocache sticker, and an un-activated travel bug.

Second Place…A complete small geocache kit…lock-n-lock, log book, cache sticker, and an un-activated travel bug.

    Third Place…An un-activated travel bug

    Fourth Place…Geocaching Lanyard(from geocaching.com store)

    Fifth Place…Geocaching Lanyard(from geocaching.com store)

excellent post furfool….most people do not think of those types of things. Its just always nice to have that info in the back of your head for if something strange happens. You never know when things could happen.

    Well Done…congrats on the milestone!

That is definitely weird!! I have seen some very strange things near headstones in the past, usually something placed for the deceased. What I mean is maybe the person placed it for his father who’s favorite food was stuffed cow tongue(that’s what the stitching is)…maybe it was a birthday meal tradition or something like that and that day was the aforementioned birthday. That, and a religious thing or something like that.

That was really fun, and it could not have been a nicer day. Thanks to everybody for joining in!! I had a blast and it was nice to see some familiar faces, and to meet some new people. Thanks bakrdz for the walking sticks. Thanks Jim for taking some pictures. I need to cache with large groups more often…I never even touched one of the stages! It was nice to talk with everybody afterward. Hope to do more outings like this in the future.

Do you guys think it is even there, or just a good joke for the C.O.?? I mean, this place has been torn apart by some pretty accomplished cachers. What do you think?

Unfortunately Ruth, the better half of MuddyBottoms will be working and will not be able to join us,

Well…I suppose finding the cache is still enough of an incentive even if it is with the “not so better half.”

I’ll still see if I can rustle up two sticks even if we are one bottom short.

    Lol…your a good man!
