Has there been a meeting time and location place announced yet? OR did I miss it?

Yeah benny…I have the coordinates listed on the first post. We are meeting at the “inlet” landing at the county park on the east end of the lake. We will be there at 3:00 p.m. Hope you can make it!!

Unfortunately Ruth, the better half of MuddyBottoms will be working and will not be able to join us, but I will be there and ready as MuddyBottom. Ruth will bake the brownies in the morning before she heads to work and there will be hot cocoa as well!

    Looking forward to this.

It looks like the weather is going to be on our side, should prove to be a very enjoyable hike, hopefully the cache will cooperate.

Upper 20’s…little to no wind, and party cloudy, should be a nice sunset over the lake when we are on our way out.

Hey Jailer….I would say that you could find that one if you really wanted to. I would tell you to approach from West, off of the county park landing. It would be about 2 miles one way. If you could hitch a ride with someone on an atv heading that way for some cisco’s you could save some time. I have not ventured out along that shore in a few years, but I do know that heaves like to form along the sliding rock area, so you would have to hug shore, and that would be a drifted in mess.

It really just depends on if you want to try it…it might be a cake walk, it might be a pain. I know I have seen four wheelers in that direction, but I have not been over there since the new snow.

I think you will be fine there jstajlr….I am sure there will be a fair amount of B.S.ing going on before we head out.

Maybe Jay could even rustle up another log or two for team MuddyBottoms?? There would be at least 10 minutes of picture taking if we have a couple new walking sticks…then at least another 10 minutes thinking of names for them!!
I could probably find my own walking sticks, but why cut into bakrdz’s business!!

Our best was 38 in one day on our run to 300. That does not seem like many. But this was before we went paperless, or used a nuvi. We had the whole day planned out with each cache written down, and entered manually. Then we had each cache location numbered on a paper map so we could drive to them a little faster. It was a very fun day, and we were beat. Now that we have a little more technology on our side, we plan on shattering that number this spring. I don’t really cache to see my numbers rise, but I do love going on numbers runs, its really fun to see how many you can do in a day.

Scrappy Scout just logged onto the chat on my blog and told me that he joined the league. We now have our 3rd team.

yes, these were the defaults…and yes, you are correct about the pitching…you choose a Team and get their whole staff

Sorry for the confusion, but I have changed the draft date to April 3rd. I did this so you can have more time to research your players if you wish, and to allow more time for people to sign up and what not.

I type this as I am watching a classic Brewer game from 05 on FSN…I love baseball season, can’t wait for April and the opener!!

Sorry man…I just set it up on MLB and I think it is going to work out pretty well, the rules are pretty easy, and I think the draft should go well.

I have it set up for the max of 12 teams, so join it now, or you might not get a spot.

If you are interested in playing just send me an e-mail with the account you want to use, and I will e-mail you an invite to the league with all of the details you will need to get in and set up your account.

I have the draft set for March 20th…the time right now is for 6 p.m. but we can change any of that if it does not work out for everybody.

Thanks…..e-mail is muddybottoms [at] live [dot] com

I was just looking at setting up the league, and the only offline options are where the computer drafts for you…not very cool if you ask me, whats the point?? I am in the process of setting it up now, it will be on online live draft, I will post dates and times when I get it all figured out.
    Should be allot of fun!!!

    Hahahaha…very funny!!

    Welcome to the insanity!

Alright…I think we will have a better turnout if we do it in the afternoon. How about 3:00, that will give us plenty of daylight to work with. There will be hot cocoa and some hopefully still warm fudge brownies.
