I will need to find campsite near Wild Rose on Wed the 18th.

After talking to the the IAT county chapter leader I realize there is no campsite for 27 miles! I can’t do that in one day. I would be willing to hike the 3 miles into town if thats what it took for me to find a spot for the night. I dont’ need much, 8×8′ spot and some water, and I won’t even be making a fire so no wood or ring needed.

Anybody know anyone who would let a drifter sleep in their lawn for a night?

Can you imagine if these rules didn’t exist and subway or geico started placing caches, OMG that would spoil the sport.

But one rule caught me off guard, you would think groundspeak would want people to do this one

if no one placed them, there would be none to find……

when these first came out, most cachers stated that they didn’t like the idea, but Groundspeak went with it anyways, now that they see we don’t do them because its dumb, they finally get it.

Heres what id do, change one rule, they can only be placed within guidelines of regular caches. Meaning they would be on the map, but if a cache was already there, then you couldn’t place it. Then they would only be placed in places that physical caches couldn’t be placed due to no hiding spot, or park rules, etc. They would really be like the old virtuals then.
