helping someone find the answer (or cache) is one thing, but handing someone the answer (or cache) is cheating
IMO
but this really isn’t a competition game, so, your only cheating yourself (and the CO depending on their wishes)

I did hear something on the radio about a $9000 ring that people could look for, Im guessing it was thrown in a pile of dirt and people had to actually dig for it.

now that would be quite a cashe find

Crazy, but id hate to see that gas bill, thats mainly the reason I don’t get more of them, I can’t justify burning that much gas for pts.

as for the GPS, don’t know, don’t use one. Look for a couple of my caches here in the valley, you don’t really need a GPS for any of them.

I just think its odd that they ban ALR’s but then bring them back as challenge caches and the side cache challenges. So the ALRs are still there, just presented in a different way. So anotherwords they shouldn’t have even banned them in the first place, they still exist.

I know my thread isn’t going to change anything, but I just dont’ understand their thinking process, “you can’t do that, unless you present it this way” whats the difference?

I found a Memorial cache on Memorial day at Memorial Park

Ive cleared my area of service caches, but found a memorial cache to the cache owners great grandpa, and by the logs from other cachers he was a well known man, the cache is at the entrance to Memorial park where the road is named after him (Witzke)
