We’ve had our eye on that very cache.
I am not opposed to difficult caches – and it is not 50 dollars in gas and 12 hours away from me either 🙂 Let me know when your doing it!
My longest would have to be the fireman series near kiel and that wasnt very long – maybe 3 miles round trip and I got 10 on that 🙂 But I am very interested in the County Park in Door County that has one hard one – but only because I want to see the cottage.

Maybe the four of us are just oddballs.
It’s not all about the numbers – it’s all about the fun.I am a numbers guy – but that’s what is fun about it 🙂 I do enjoy my harder ones, but my idea of fun is a 2 mile hike in the snow up a hill to find an ammo can…not to find a nano at the end of a branch But to each his own – I have to admit I have found some nanos at the end of a branch, after 5 visits and that feeling is a little better then the Stop Spots – but on the other side 50 bucks in gas and 12 hours invested to get 8 caches is not my idea of fun…

Team DeeJay answered the question pretty well. Someone can submit a rescue mission, but it needs to be approved by the administrator (Team DeeJay). The only other way is if a state volunteer reviewer (Team DeeJay) submits a rescue mission on a cache that is quite obviously gone.
He did – I completely missed that post – happens when your too quick 🙂
Thanks DeeJay and Black Cat
So does anyone know any good resources as to how I can find out who owns this? What type of legal issues I would have going through the property? Do I have any takers to explore with me ?
Way to snatch the bully pulpit! Still doesnt answer my ?? how does a cache get on a rescue mission?

if you feel that i’m beating a dead horse, you can avoid the dead horse and let it stay dead. others may be interested, or the topic can die.
Count me in the Interested! No one likes dead horses! I have been in and out of the forums for the past few years but trying to be more active so Count me as a newbie ( with 3300 finds 🙂 )
So Question on this –
Does a Rescue get listed for all archives? The only reason I ask is recently TBB went through and archived quite a few – not sure if they were all missing anyway or what but How do we know they are gone?
I am surprise this hasn’t gotten more responses – or is it just we have answered this question 100 times to others ( and to our selves banging our head at a Ranger Boy Puzzle, or a Merc Hide 🙂 )
I misread your post Zoe – Thought you took the shot. Would anyone be interested in taking a walk?
Would you ever want to make a return trip? Would love to walk through with my Camera – your shots were awesome. I wonder what the legal ramifications? Did you sneak in? Where did you park?… I got as far as the driveway with the car running:) Know of any other places like this?
The one in the same… Nice pic when did you snap that?

Well, one problem with many caches in cemeteries is that they can be hard to find sometimes. I know of a certain cacher in the Fox Valley with 5 digits at the end of his name that loves to hide a bison in a pine tree – with a few other pine trees next to it and markers all around the pine tree..
Are they really that hard to find? There easy to maintain, place and with as many caches as he has the Wisconsin Geocaching Community I don’t think we should be complaining about the bison in the cedar tree…
I love WSQ’s and plan trips solely to get them good numbers and a good chance to visit history. My mind wanders as I walk between the roles, who where these people? Where did they come from, what did they do, why were they taken from us. 99% of Cemetery caches and 98% of cachers are respectful So I will continue to go out of my way when I see a WSQ show up on the list.
So do we think this was staged or chosen in someway? or was it really # 2 Million
I do it for the discovery – I have lived in my city all my life and still find dead ends, parks, historical markers or other oddities that I would go another 40 years and never see. The revolutionary war veteran outside of Waupon on the hill, or the Waterfall SE of Green Bay. Sure those happen every 100 Lamp Posts, and Stop Spots, but when I find something like that it keeps me going for the next 100 P&Gs.
Thats why I cache –

Un-Retired – would like to get back into it! Keep me in mind for more trips.
