I’ve noticed that mosquitoes are back in the Milwaukee area over the past 2 days too.

If Trekkin could arrange a loaner vehicle like Baa Baa Black Jeep and go road tripping on a statewide series quest like BigJim60 then it might be worth it…

I had one saved up from a geocamping trip last month: GC1B81M Wisconsin sin Dells EarthCache.

In fact, between all of the virtuals and earth caches which I collected on that trip, I was able to maintain my daily streak.  Due to my grade 2 ankle sprain that I suffered during that trip, I had to use crutches to get around for 10 days and couldn’t really geocache.

I blame my ex-wife for the flooding near LaCrosse: she just returned yesterday from there on her 1st motorcycle trip with her boyfriend and she bought a new rainsuit before leaving.

Hack1of2:  The closest No Fuel attribute cache to Milwaukee that I’ve found is GC62KJW Unknown Dead End near FDL.  It is also loaded up with some other unusual negative attributes which helped fill up my negative attribute grid.

Added another 8 parks this past week to complete the Lake Michigan biome and get near the midway point of 22 so far.  Followed the BigJim stamp everywhere in Door Co.

I simply cannot keep up with a geocacher with a temporary loaner vehicle (Baa Baa Black Jeep!) who’s on a quest to complete a statewide series…

Noonan: that Kagan web link is waayyyy too bright pink for this early in the am.  Or anytime.

Today’s stupid geo thought:  They just don’t make Virtual Caches nowadays like they used to…

My name doesn’t appear on the list since joining 6 months ago, nor when I changed my caching name in May.  I have my GC authorization tokens renewed thru 2017.

Lately it seems stuck at 464 finders and 2,427 finds, so maybe the Groundspeak API query is maxed out??

Heading up to the Port Wash webcam to start my chase for the most icons in a day – should be able to easily beat my current high of 6 that I got at the spring WGA campout.  My 1st Ba$h!

Thank God for Mondays as it allows me to heal my bumps, bruises, scratches, and exhaustion from the weekend fun.

As someone who recently started caching in Feb 2016, I peruse the COTM list to look for interesting caches.  Many of them have not been out long enough or are not gadget caches to gather enough favorite points to place high on the favorite points list like a Dr Dolittle cache does.

I noticed that Iowa IGO has a cache of the year award too – now that would be a toughie to win.

I just picked up #7 (High Cliff) yesterday.  I’m planning on a road trip to SW this weekend to grab some of those that I spent my childhood camping at.  And yes Lostcheq, I will not forget the Belmont Mounds SP, which would be impossible for me to overlook as my father’s family (century) farm is less than 1 mile E of it.
