Record low temps across Wisconsin yesterday plus some hard stuff falling from the sky. Helping our daughter with her math: “math equations in daily life” seems to have taking a geocaching bend. “If you find a lonely cache you get 5 + terrain + difficult for points…” “Dad wants to find 3000 total caches before the end of the year…”

Just checking in and saying hello.

I’ve had multiple times in the past month where I have mentioned geocaching and people have asked me if I know BigJim. Not because the people are cachers too, just just know he’s a cacher. One of these days…

Hi. There is no ‘governing body’ that determines what is or isn’t a WSQ hide. I have one that is not on cemetery grounds, and therefore didn’t need permission from the managers of the cemetery. Many others I have found over the years are close to, but not in, the cemetery. The exception would be ones that are not puzzle or multicaches, those have all be on the grounds and had permission.

Do any of the folks here with more experience on the approval side want to weigh in?

Hey, is there an issue with my two latest cache placements? Strange to have them sit so long without either approval or some sort of notice from a reviewer.
