Not lonely enough for Wisconsin, Noonan. May 16, 2013, is the cutoff date for the newest LCG list.
But you could go for the FTF on that one. <img src=”http://wi-geocaching.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif&#8221; alt=”;)” class=”wp-smiley”>

It’s on my list because there’s a road between here and Bly with a whole string of hides.
Another FTF lonely one near here is GC4MZ0M
The road to that one is closed for the winter. Talking to kids that know that area, they say good luck, call if you get lost, we probably can find you

Our reviewers are awesome. How great it is to be able to send them the cache page GC# before submission and have them tell me if there are issues. Probably makes less work for them too.

I don’t want to talk about reviewers right now

Noonan, given your reviewer issues, I’m surprised that here in Wisconsin, this one is allowed. GC20DFB

Maybe talk to the school administrators. Get their ok and convince the reviewer since that is what was done for the cache that I linked.

Te school admin is my boss & he is ok with it. I told the reviewer that already, twice.

Adam has hides on school property all over Marinette

Moved my offensive cache across the road and clearly off school grounds. Still no-go because the reviewer is afraid parents will report creepy people. I don’t know who they would report them to because the only police officers around here are Smith & Wesson.

Very strong sustained wind today. Yesterday’s high of 64 was close to the record.
I keep telling my dad he needs to come visit to golf in shorts.

People out here don’t use “folks” very often. I thanked the crowd for coming to the games last night and called them “folks” and the student helping me giggled because I was talking funny again.

14+ hours at work today. Turns out we have both boys and girls JV and Varsity basketball teams play all in one night. First game started at 3:30 and the last game finished at 9:30. And, on Wednesday might too. Church night back home.
Last week the teams missed three consecutive afternoons of school to go to away games.

    Good Day,

I am a volunteer reviewer for Geocaching.com in Oregon. I am looking at your cache and I’m concerned about how close it is to school property.

    The guidelines (http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.printer.friendly&id=11) state:

Geocaches are not placed on school property. Many primary, middle and secondary schools do not allow geocaching within their borders. Further, it is inadvisable to place geocaches near schools as the borders shown on a map may be inaccurate. Geocachers who are actively searching for a cache are likely to arouse suspicion in such environments, and we want to avoid this situation.

Considering it from a the perspective of a parent whose child attends that school, seeing people walking close to the school and the parking lot behaving oddly (as so many cachers do when they’re looking for a cache) during recess just doesn’t feel ok. For what it’s worth, several cachers have told me that they feel uncomfortable finding a cache near a school or a playground if they’re alone because they’re concerned that someone will think they’re predators when all they’re doing is looking for a cache.

I have temporarily disabled your cache to allow you to relocate it away from the school. Once you have moved the cache and changed the coordinates, please log a reviewer note on the cache page so I know to look at it again.

    Thanks for understanding,

    Ugh
The reviewer doesn’t like my cache next to school because of creepy people… Blah. We want to use it for school and I got the ok from my boss. Mentioned that in the reviewer note. One was approved the other day with a similar proximity.
I’m hoping my nice reply will change their mind.
    Ugh

Noonan, they took the whole container??????????

Two 7th graders were standing on the top rock and noticed it rocks. They found the cache & read the “found it by mistake” note and actually followed the directions except they took it with them to have the information they need to log it since it was their first find.
They created an account and logged it. Then they put it back and hid it better than it was!
    Couldn’t ask for more!
They talked to me about it before school today and wanted to know how to find more without a GPS or phone. All I could say was get an idea where it is from the coords and Google maps.
