I sure can use a bye weekend this week to catch up on things around the house! Maybe even do some caching?

Still living out of boxes. Well, not living out of them as much as surrounded by them to get things put away.

Say goodbye to the Packers’ season. Guess I’ll have more time for caching on weekends.

Not sure what to do with that thing. I really want to find it since I had the rest of them found, but if the CO is inactive and every part of the series is disabled, it should probably be archived.

I think you might hear back from them. Be patient…the FF4 are now the FF5. You know how those priorities can effect caching.

Nothing yet, but that’s understandable even with out the +1

Last week of being a workweek bachelor. Better start finding caches at a faster rate šŸ™‚

Hope everyone is having a good (hot, humid) campout weekend. Wish we could be there, but this is our last weekend of living in Marinette while I’m working in Adams. Moving into our house next weekend!

I’m looking at my unfound in the M&M area caches, and I have the infamous Mission Impossible series Final left. All but one caches in the series are either disabled or archived. I found them all but L6 (penultimate) – that was archived and has the information helpfully (?) listed on the archived cache’s page. However, the information from the other five are on my dead old phone (along with many hours of puzzle cache finds). I’ve written the CO for the final coords, but they haven’t been online in two years. Does anyone have them to pass along to me. There’s a TB listed in the cache that’s been stuck there for two years. The dummy coordinates are on Stephenson Island, but it isn’t lonely enough yet to be on the LCG list. Hoping to get to it today to see if it is actually still there or fit for archive like the rest.

Argh. I forgot about hunting season. Out west people just sort of drive around and look for deer off in the distance and then pull over to get a shot at them. I can’t think of a single cache that had a warning about hunting season out there.

We keep it pretty local and enjoy a home brewfest in our area every year. It’s become an annual tradition. Last year the organizers commented that ā€œOh, you’re that fun group!ā€ We have a couple of nice craft breweries in town that are fun to visit, too. We’ve been slowly getting our wine tour books for the state stamped when we get near one. That’s fun to do, too. So far our absolute favorite winery discovered this way is actually across the river in Marquette Iowa. Eagle’s Landing.

As we were preparing to move back here from OR, one of our friends and local caching legend H2Oz mentioned they have friends with a winery on the Sandland side of Appleton. The name escapes me now, but if I remember where it is I’ll see what the local consensus is of the place. I remember the web page is very impressive…
