I see everything when I upload but nothing when linked. I can always try doing it from home to see if that works.
If anyone wants the file itself let me know

Just tried to access the info with a link from the above picture but Jeffrey couldn’t fetch anything at all.

This is a link to an unpublished cache, so I’m guessing it won’t work for you. It’s the only copy of the picture I have online at this point.

    Unless…

    That works πŸ™‚

How do I keep the coordinates for a picture I took of a cache in the Exif information when I upload it to the web? I tried putting a picture on an unpublished cache of mine, and then linking to that picture for a puzzle cache. Once I look at the picture’s informationΒ the data for the coordinates are gone. I can upload the file from my hard drive directly, and things work perfectly.

Since I’m doing this at work, I’m limited to the photo sharing sites I can access, it that makes a difference…

Walked 9 miles in the “rain” to place 28 caches. Just about 2 miles to close the gap between my two sections of the trail. 13 more caches to type up, including 5 puzzles that I need to match types with numbers.

Girls came in 4th in the state for the 2nd year in a row in volleyball. Maybe more? Not sure what happened before I got here, but there is no cause and effect implied πŸ™‚

Only had time to find two caches while up there for the games. We left a day earlier than we had originally planned. 😐

All the time spent solving puzzles, never got to one of them. There is a huge challenge trail, never got near it. Guess the girls better go back to state again next year! My wife says she’s not going again. The hard plastic bleachers are too much for her joints.

I’m proud of myself. Today we spent an hour sitting outside the vet, waiting for the time to come to pick up the dogs. We were five blocks from a cache and I never mentioned once going to find it while we were waiting.

Wednesday is off to Medford to take my wife in for a checkup. I’m guessing she won’t be up for any finds afterwards. Β πŸ™‚

Oh, HP2 – there will be another 5/5 for you out here once I get the puzzle worked up.

Speaking of tough puzzles – ok, I was talking to my wife about them – check out the ones in the Portland area by MMmm!!

I taught history back in WI for 20 years. I got lucky and managed to get the one section of Government this year, so I have a little bit of my past with me again.

Back to the puzzle. I know there are caches where you solve the puzzle in order to get access to the coords. I haven’t seen any like that out here, but I know there were some in eastern MN and western WI. Can’t seem to find any, can someone point me there?

My math classroom has two walls worth of LPs (30+ on each wall), a dial telephone, a Vietnam era field telephone, and two slide rules. One day I’ll get my Apple IIes set up too.

Noonan, you can make those practice puzzles private or by link only… unless you are using us for guinea pigs. ;)

That’s fine. The coords imbedded are dummy ones, but I’d be interested in seeing what the results are for you and let me know what you think the D would be for this
