Anyone have some favorite puzzle caches to share? Need a few ideas to help fill in gaps along the Trail.
I see a certain bird got Miss Manners to spill the beans. I’m still stuck on the Polite Pirate.

I always wanted to see a Saw Whet. 🙁 Holding one to band it would’ve put me over the top!

As if that stupid polite pirate wasn’t bad enough, now I see “Meet Miss Manners”
Heading to Portland before Thanksgiving, so checking out all the high favorite caches in the metro area.

There was a trail of 5 “tribute” caches that I was really hoping to find when I was in Medford the first time. Tried 4 and DNF all of them, didn’t get a chance to find the 5th because the car was done at the shop, but I have a feeling it wasn’t there. Two I am certain were gone, the other two were so deep in thorns I couldn’t even begin to search.
Contacted non-CO local cachers and they said the caches are “not well maintained”. No kidding!

12 hours of work yesterday for H
JV volleyball. It rained the whole time. That means my cache planting is a no-go today. Maybe find a few when we go house hunting. The best sig is no sig.
Wow! Two big WI caches found recently: Trekker’s Trek and Dr. Evermore!
Congrats!

Whoa, it’s been a long time since there was a discussion of beer on here. It was a staple in the first incarnation of the thread (at least the 300 pages I read of it).
Took another 2-hour trip to get my car worked on today. Listening to a podcast, they mentioned a beer that is made from the yeast grown in/from the beard of the brew master. When they mentioned the brewery, it is just a little bit farther down the road from where I was today. Any takers?
Knocked off three grid squares today. I swear the people in Medford just place things and put the D/T rating at whatever their friends need for finds. Two D5s were just a normal short stroll into the woods in WI. A T5 that was just a short reach into a blackberry bush. A 3.5/4.5 that was a big pill bottle under a couple of rocks.
Walked for two hours and found two D5s that were tiny rolled up containers that were stuck into drill holes that go all the way through telephone poles. I don’t remember ever seeing something like that in a pole before. Is that something that is done in WI?

Got a call from the Chevy guy today. The part is in for my Volt, so it’s another trip to Medford with a 1-hour fix-it time. Still some caches within walking distance I didn’t find last time. May have a chance to get a couple old ones along the way home too, or high favs, or both.

And a 40% chance next Thursday. High today was in the 80s again.
