Don’t get me started on fires! At least the closest one to is is ~90 miles away. Sure is smokey all day though!
Boy wasn’t feeling good. No trip to see old volcano today. Just before we decide that, I get a text, friend is going to LPPT power trail, leaving now. I decline.

Later we run to town with daughter to exchange shoes. Decide to walk paved trail with 9 hides on it. Her new shoes tear into her heel so we quit after 2.

Hear from friend: 109 caches today. At least my two were with my family.

9 finds and 2 needs archived today. Hate it when caches sit because all the local cachers found them and the CO retired years ago.

Found a neat looking Earthcache just 86 miles from here (according to GC). How long does it take to drive there?

3.25 hours, almost the entire route along highways. Welcome to Oregon, where no route is straight. 🙁
