Happy Mother’s Day. Took my wife caching and then to one of the local garden shops. She wasn’t as thrilled about the FTF we got, but I’m happy with the flowers and plants – but probably not as happy as she is with them!

106 puzzles attempted. 16 not able to be solved by me. Hoping to work through all of them by next weekend. No plans on heading north to look for them anytime soon, just nice to have all of them solved and ready to find before the big archive.

Looks like temps are staying in the 60-70s all week with lows no lower than the 40s. Would be great caching weather except for rain and that pesky work thing.

Add another Rome puzzle to your ignore list, those that have been ignoring them.

47/61 so far. Took a work trip to RAC Park today, actually got to find some caches.

This looks very interesting! It’s 70 miles straight line from my house, so not a candidate for adoption, but the puzzle is one that has me thinking.

Just this post to get the FTP – 4th to post!

Back to the Geo-Art. I can’t imagine the effort it took to get them all done!

I’ve been looking at the information and such, but I’m still stumped at how I’m supposed to know how many temporary caches were put out for any of the events.

Sometimes I’m just brute forcing things πŸ™‚

G=The number of Attended logs for the 2016 WGA Fall Geo-Picnic at Black River State Forest divided by 5.
    >AttendedΒ 42

    • There’s just enough of these little things plus the ephemeral temporary and “new” caches that just get me.

It helps if I’m looking at the Campout instead of the CITO. To answer JMJ’s question: for one – how do you access the number of temporary caches placed for an event? Or other things that have been long archived? Maybe it’s me, but I can’t even get some of the caches centered around the BOD members correct sometimes.

There are clearly 6 male and 3 female members of the 2013 BOD and I see Mr. Walker’s first name on the roster. The checker doesn’t like my solution although all it involves is simple subtraction.

Doing a Ctrl-F “Attended” and then counting the number of logs that have “attended” in them (thank you forΒ not doing that in the past) I see 56 “attended” logs for the CITO with MnGCA. However:Β A=The number of attended logs for the 2013 WGA Campout at Interstate State Park minus 69.

I’m not going to keep doing this, but the rain/snow today has put me in a mood.

I appreciate all the effort that must have gone into both placing all the caches and making all the puzzles, but what does this actually mean? “B= What was the number of the photo contest that was held for the 2011 Geo-Picnic at Brunet Island State Park?”

I’m really starting to detest the WGA Geo-Art puzzles.

So, if I didn’t make a comment, and I spread my finds over several days (or months)?
