I can’t remember the last time I watched Dave. Probably around 25 years ago, in college, but not by choice. I never understood his humor.

One of my adventure in a Volt finds just got archived. Too bad too.

Thanks!
Our girls softball team (defending #2 state from last year) just won round one 4-3 in the bottom of the 7th. I saw the winning run. I headed to avenge two DNFs first, and was walking into the park as we scored. I can see the scoreboard from our recliner. The best sig is no sig.
80+ and sunny all week here

We go through 2 weeks on June. Seniors are done next Wednesday. Half day classes and half day of them presenting their Senior Peojectd, whatever that means. They all want to move to WI when I tell them our graduation requirements are not tied to state tests and/or proving competence through written work samples. My lower level class is doing three miniunits this last grading period to get them just enough knowledge to pass a work sole since none of them have passed the state tests (or will pass). Right now we are learning trig.

Bec: all I have around here is space for caches. I plan on dropping 55 sometime soon along Swan Lake road. Great views along that route.
The park I took the dogs to is almost devoid of caches. Talking to the last finder makes me think the ones I couldn’t find are gone.
The more I get out, the more good spots I see for caches. Being so remote there are seven or eight of local that are placing caches for each other to find and then someone swoops in from “outside” once in a while. The best sig is no sig.

Looks like Todd’s wishes are coming true, just in the “wrong” county!

Almost forgot the highlight of the morning!
On the way home from GC1Q9NE we came across a flick of sheep in the middle of the road around the corner from GC5GXZM so we pulled into the driveway even though it was pretty clear nobody was home. Knocked on the door anyway and got no answer but I could see across the pasture the neighbors were out and watching me so I hollered over to tell them about the sheep and he said he’d be over.
I walked toward the sheep because I knew rigs hauling campers were coming down the road anytime because I had passed them on the way out of the park.
The neighbor showed up in his truck and it was my boss!
The sheep saw the two of us and squirmed their way back under the gate. He said it was his son’s place so he could take care of things.
Good scoring points with the boss when you aren’t even trying! The best sig is no sig.
Cool!
Went 1/1/1 today
Find wasn’t as hard as I made it
DNF well, who knows. It’s on an island that isn’t an island due to the drought. I think a packrat moved in at the cache location, but it is a micro with all kinds of rocks and bushes to place it in. I am going to write one of the very few finders to see what he remembers. It’s worth coming back because this is a park with very few hides and so many possibilities!
The third 1 was a can’t attempt due to water. The big island is still an island although in a year or two that wY change if the weather keeps up as it has for the past two.The best sig is no sig.
There goes another new one Todd. I really like the one on the bridge just downstream from there

802 and counting. Great views along the trail again today. Now time to fix the gas line on the mower and get some work done.

Sitting in a small local diner where the guys are talking politics that is diametrically opposed to mine and shutting my mouth is not easy. But I did it.

8 more for 800. There is a section of the OC&E that has 8 caches on it 🙂

Todd, new cache in Peshtigo. Don’t recognize the name of the CO either.
