The big cow that was at the old dairy along Hwy 41 in Peshtigo is now by the intersection of Z and ZZ. That area is calling out for caches!

Any help? GC1VX81 “Baker” is the city it is placed in: Baker City.

I never have gotten the hang of the “the hint is in the wording” puzzles yet.

My wife is working on genealogy stuff and a branch of her mom’s family settled out here from da UP years ago. This could be a great chance for me to knock out large numbers of Delorme pages and counties, while making her happy too 🙂

Looks like they have a multi in a “Chinese cemetery” that we would call a WSQ-type hide GCM8J4 and a virtual too GC8FD2

Why would you find one of the oldest caches and log tftc?

Bonanza now has a ? cache, a letterbox, multi and earthcache within 10ish miles.
My daughter had a great idea for a puzzle cache. Her ID starts with Z so I can see her hides being popular down the road too.

Checked on my wife’s hide today. Found two chew tins at GZ and repurposed one to replace the missing container. His four more along the way. Realized as I was typing one up it would make a good letterbox, so I need to do more work to make it one, but it is already hidden.
Called to see if I had time to drive out to a lonely cache since I was already halfway there. Request denied.
Did some needed yard work as a family. Spotted a mourning cloak as it flew by! All kinds of rodents scurrying about too. Even saw a dove doing some fancy dance moves to catch another’s eye. And this is March!
Walked with the kids to the park again today. Huge tadpoles in the River and frogs all over!
Found a good spot to place a hide on the way home, just need to talk to the owners (still).
Had a better day than expected after the way it started.

6 hours after I get up with the dogs, the crashed crew gets up. Day is shot for caching. I am grumpy.

Sprayed an entire bottle of weed killer in the backyard on creeping charlie. I think I got to most of it. Tons more around the side and front, but I ran out of juice before I got there. The neighbor across the street is cutting grass with his riding lawnmower. Multiple hundreds of geese are flying over every morning on their way to the semipermanent lake just west of town. Really impressive flights when they mass together.

    I’m still grumpy.

Everybody is still crashed out here. Hard to do cleaning chores (so I can cache) when half the family is asleep out here

    no caching today

Sadly same here, despite temps in the 70s.

Placed a ? one before running to town and getting seeds, soil, etc. to start planting. Yes, people are already tilling gardens around here.

Our daughter planted tomato, pepper, pea and an assortment of other seeds that we wouldn’t be thinking of planting in WI yet.

Took a walk through town to the park. Big Springs sure earns its name! There are gushers of water coming up out of the ground. Dozens of springs! What really stuck me is the flow of the water. There is an island between the main river channel and most of the springs. At one point, there is a small, old dam. At the dam, the water flows west. At the other end of the island, the water flows east to get to the main channel. So, if you are on the island, the water flows in two different directions, but not because the main channel is split.

As I was checking this out, I got a notice that my ? cache was published. The cool thing was that I was standing exactly where WP1 is for the puzzle as it was published. Too bad it was my own cache! I’ve been within .2 miles of a cache as it is published, anyone ever been closer than that to one they didn’t know about ahead of time?

That movie sure has some language for a PG movie.

Birth of a Nation would probably get X rating due to the blatant racism. KKK are the heroes.

    That was a fast page.

Here was a fast FTF on my Spike007 inspired cache: GC5NXH1

    The original was GC37CCC

Pulaski is a stretch for Todd to get to too. I knew they had to be a ways from my old hometown because I didn’t recognize any of the names as being close when we were living there before we moved out here. I know I would’ve have passed up the LOTR series if it would’ve been anywhere close to home.

    Good luck getting them adopted!
