I took out a measuring stick and we have about 14 inches here in south side of Weston. Shoveled twice and filled up the feeders. Got plowed out once about noon—not going anywhere tonight or maybe not Sunday either. Just cookin and readin! Why can’t this happen when we are supposed to go to Work? The Nuns
Congratulations Team Sloughfoot. You inspire us all the time. way to go! (from the Nuns)
Gee thanks, everyone! Thanks for the Challenge ideas. We decided we have put off finishing up the SCC – Shawano County Cemetery Challenge. We have about 30 caches to go to finish it–and cemeteries are a good place to go during hunting season. We have been dabbling in the SCC challenge for a couple years–and we “gotta run” and do it. See ya along the way!
How to tell if someone is working the Rustic Roads Challenge:
After our first weekend doing a few RR–we have one bee sting, a case of poison ivy and legs shredded by raspberry bushes. Okay–so we’re learning “what not to wear”. Enjoying the fun and ready to go again!
Thanks for all the good wishes for our completion of the counties. A special thanks to those cachers who can put together these great challenges that the rest of us just can’t resist. Yes, the Nuns have completed the Delorme and the counties with less than 400 finds—and we have the car with 102,000 miles on it to prove it!!! We enjoyed every bit of this beautiful state—and feel like we just got started sampling it even tho we have lived here all our lives. See you along the journey…Nuns on the Run!
Congratulations to both of you on your 1000th. It has been great fun caching with you. Thanks for introducing us to this sport–even though it does get a bit obsessive at times. Thanks for making it fun for others.
Nuns on the Run!
