Can anyone tell me where they got all those cute stamps? I have an event I would like to use a variety of marking devices.

    Thanks

We try and pick up a few in all the places we go. We love to cache but the sightseeing is the main reason we amble about. It’s never about the numbers when we travel but the experience.

When we cruise, we try and find a few in each port, preferably near the places of interest any tourist would love.

When we drive, we try to find some in small towns, cemeteries, monuments or places of interest along the way. Gives us a chance to stretch and breaks up the drive.

When we are staying in another city we love to walk the downtown areas to see the sights and people. We were in DC this past weekend and picked up some virtuals we hadn’t already mastered, and looked for Whereigo’s or special puzzle or multis. We also look at the state geocaching website (if they have one) and see if they have any special contests or series they are promoting.

We try and interest our friends and new friends in joining us along the way. Sometimes we are successful, other times we just strike out on our own. Either way it is a fun part of traveling.

BBaka”L” and I wish you a great big Mazel Tov. We hope to meet you once again along the trail, little one in tow.

There are some really good ones by Geo MoJo in Nashville. He/she has a six pack challenge GC1988T. Some of them are pretty evil. There are also some very nice virtuals and a few multi’s in the downtown area that highlight the history of Nashville. Someone has made a bookmark of caches in Metro Nashville Parks you should check out as well. I was there for a conference and wished I had a car to do some of the outlying caches. Have fun.

They are wonderful. Thank you to the designers and to the WGA for producing them. They will be a fine addition to our collections. 😀

in reply to: Woodville Biking Trail #1894358

My friends Orange&Blue, KSteve and BBaka”L” and I hiked the Woodville Trail this past weekend. We had an absolute blast. We found 35 of the caches starting in North Woodville and ending at 10th Ave. This was a wonderfully gentle walk with multitudes of creative hides that were easy to stop and find on an absolutely gorgeous fall day day with color all around us. I would recommend this trail highly for either walking or biking. Most of the terrains were set a bit higher then they actually appeared to be but that was a pleasant discovery. If one is hiking the trail we suggest you stop in Woodville and use the restrooms before continuing on the rest of the hike as there are no facilities anywhere. We parked cars on 50th and then 25th and 10th Aves and shuttled to the start.

We all said we would be back to finish the trail and pick up many of the cemetery hides in the area. Thank you to all those who made the hides. We appreciate the effort and a chance to visit Wisconsin.
