“guess we will all have to wait and see.”

    Yeah,

It looks like I’ll still be using my back seat teenage autorouter for our upcoming trip.

Anybody hear anything more about Navigator V8? I’ve been looking at a few sites and V7 is “back ordered” and they’re not taking orders. I assume it’s likely they’re waiting for V8? I would like to take care of getting something for an upcoming trip and don’t have much longer to wait. Any ideas on when to expect to be able to get 8?

When doing a google search there are a lot of web sites selling Garmin units, map software, and accessories. Anybody have any good or bad exeriences with any of them. I’d like to avoid the one and experience the other.

    Thanks!

Thank you for the information. I had the chance to ride along with Mr. Honeybunny the other night and see Navigator working in his 60CSx. I didn’t know about only being able to “unlock” a certain amount of units. I didn’t know about Navigator. It seems like the thing to do is to keep on running the topo software in the Legends and get Navigator for my 60CSx. Again, thanks so much for the help!

We were really looking forward to bringing a trailer full of canoes and kayaks and spending a day paddling to caches in the north but that was when we were ForeFeathers. Now, rather unfortunately, we’re One Paddle Short…

Get it? Har. I can, much to my family’s dismay, make up jokes as funny as that one all day long…

Last summer, before I built the rack in the trailer, one of the kayaks rolled over and the paddle we stored inside really was gone. So there we were, ready for a beautiful day on the water, and we really were- one paddle short. But it wasn’t anything a trip to Gander Mountain- 1 ½ hours each way- and a credit card couldn’t fix (it just meant we didn’t get on the water until the sun was going down). I shall email both you and Honeybunnies to figure out a good weekend for paddling.
