    We vote for Lake Wissota!!!

My friend’s dad works there during the summer and I am pretty sure that that park does not allow Geocaching in any way shape or form from what he has told me.

It would be a great place if they would allow the caches to be there for just a few days.

If anyone is interested I can get a name and contact number for that park if that’s where the masses decide to go.

I like the way you think.

The email would come from your domain registar. They usually have a link in there that you have to click and then you select whether or not you wish to approve the transfer.

What really sucks about this is that not all registars allow you to lock your domain. The registar I primarily use does not allow you to lock domains.

I am in the process of moving about 10 domains to another registar as they expire so it doesn’t bother me a whole lot.

As long as a person checks their mail every couple days they should be able to deny the transfer. It won’t be a problem for most people as long as they have the proper information on file with their registar and check their mail.

Now if they would just outlaw the “Domain Registry of America” from sending their “notices” and filling up my PO Box.

We don’t log our own caches. I don’t understand why some people do.

Not really in Eastern Wisconsin but the Three Bad Ribs Cache in Wausau is basically going up and down steep hills non-stop. It takes around 4 hours to complete.

Not something you want to call any of us up here. Back in the day when there were no minimun training requirements you would get a lot of “Barney Fife” type officers. Not true anymore.

Does anyone understand Garmin’s Mapsource “Unlocking” deal? I would really hate to buy a $100 disc only to pay $75.00 per update. I don’t know if I am reading into that wrong or what.

This appears to be a nice unit though.

We both use Garmin Legends. They don’t go though batteries too bad and can store more waypoints than we would ever need.
