I have three caches that uses the orange matchstick containers from Wal-Mart.
Zero water problems.
So, how many coins were ordered so far?

Great unit, with the entire US loaded (minus CA, OR and WA).
❓
That’s like when I ask my daughter if she finished ALL of her homework.
“Yes dad, I got it all done except…”
Why are those three left off?
Granted that is true but I have yet to find anything on GC.com that says they are promoting this. (last time checked was 10pm last night)
I’m just being a little more leery since my GC.com account is tide to my paypal for auto payments to GC.com.
Has word been made from GC.com on supporting this particular event?
More than likely I will miss out but hey can’t have everything.
Why do they need my GC.com password????

Thanks…
If you like nice walks/hikes check out red rock canyon. I do not know if there are any caches there but it is a nice place to be around sun set.
Oh… I was so hoping that the reason for the servers being down was due to the fact that yall were prepping the site for the WGA coin sale. 😆
Thanks for getting the site up. 😀

The trail that is being left should only be a problem if the caches/waypoints your tracking are in close proximity. If not, the trail will not be shown since it will be out of the radius of the compass.
Now after getting to a waypoint, from what I read you have to cancel the navigation then pick your next destination. (on mine i do not have to cancel just pick a new destination)
From page 29
When you reach your destination, be sure to cancel your navigation:
press MENU|↓to CANCEL NAVIGATION|ENT. iFINDER asks if you’re sure;
press ←|ENT.If the trail does get in the way you can always clear it.
From page 29/30
Press MENU|↓to CLEAR TRAIL|ENT. iFINDER asks if you’re sure; press
←|ENT. 2. Return to the page by pressing EXIT.Remember they are learning. If something goes wrong tell them it is user error and they should try again. 😀

I will try that, but does it sound to you like you can have 14 in there or only one? …
Yes, it will hold 14. The manual says the thing will hold 1,000 waypoints but putting them in would take a year.
from page 3
Position points: …………. 1,000 waypoints; 1,000 event marker icons.Here what I found ** I also uses a Lowrance Phd myself **
First off you need to make sure your in advanced mode. Being in basic mode only allows for two waypoints; home and man overboard.
I found no way just to enter one waypoint after another in the manual but there is still a way.
That user guide for advanced is at this link
http://www.lowrance.com/Manuals/Files/iFINDERGoAdvanced_0148-731_Rev2_050305.pdfIn short this is how
Switch to Advanced Mode (pg

Switch Back to Easy Mode from Advanced Mode
To leave Advanced Mode and switch back to Easy Mode:
1. Press MENU|MENU|to EASY MODE|ENT.
2. Unit asks “Are you sure you want to turn on Easy Mode?”
press |ENT and the unit switches to Easy Mode.I see no way in the manual to just enter a new entered position but there seems to be a slight workaround. From page 52-54
Do this 1st
Create Waypoint at Current Position (pg 53)
1. While you are traveling, press ENT|ENT. The waypoint is saved and
automatically given a name with a sequential number, such as “waypoint
002.” The waypoint symbol and number appear on the map. Then
Edit a Waypoint (pg54)
Waypoint Position
To edit waypoint position: 1. Press FIND|ENT|to NAME|ENT|ENT|↓to
waypoint name|ENT|→to EDIT POSITION|ENT.
2. Latitude: press ENT, then press ↑or ↓to change the first character,
then press →to the next character and repeat until the latitude is correct.
Press EXIT.
3. Longitude: press ↓|ENT, then press ↑or ↓to change the first character,
then press →to the next character and repeat until the latitude is
correct. Press EXIT.

Be careful about running your batteries all the way down to the point of it not working … I suggest you read this article that I wrote about PDA batteries in the past:
http://wi-geocaching.com/modules.php?name=News2&sid=47&_tab=archive
In addition, while your PDA does work someone also mentioned a person that does PDA repair. I ended up using him to fix the headphone jack on the PDA and the work was done quickly and at a reasonable cost.
here is that info again for those who might need it.
