I like this part the best.
A cache may remain at the approved site for no more than three years at which time it must be removed, the site restored to its original condition by the party placing the cache and to the satisfaction of the Parks Department, and the Parks Department land manager informed in writing of the removal (the removal notification form is the same as the placement request form). This will control cache abandonment and assist in preventing renegade trail development to the site.
This is a requirement you agree to by placing a cache and the only boundary here is the Parks Department Judgment. In short, they can ask that you not perform but pay for the restoration. $$$$$$
**Possible future phone call
“Your cache caused a volunteer trail and we need new top soil and the site will need to be replanted and since this is a sensitive job area not wanting to damage the surrounding area as well, we will hire someone and bill you.”While this might not happen, the wording gives them the power to do so.
MR. PCFrog will be happy to help eat….
Or any other thing that might be needed.

It really is no big deal, as long as the rest of the normal population can see it.
Yea… I’m normal 😀

Every cache should have a certain “WOW” factor. Build on that.
1/3 of the caches in the state would have to vanish under this idea.
Not every cache has a wow factor but leads people to places they might otherwise have seen or go.
My personal preference would be that I would like to see 10 caches than 2 or 3 multis. I HATE doing a multi and spending an hour finding caches then the last one or second last stage is missing. This is one reason I shy away from them and have few in my find list. If 1 out of 9 traditional caches is missing then I was still able to find 9.
If this was brought up before sorry for not being able to find it but I was wondering how are people doing the form for Multi-caches. Are people just filling out the form with final location or a form per step or one full form for the final & the cords of each step attached?
I see you have this already on the fourms. Could you put a little more space between “Hide this forum” & “Mark all topics read”?
When I think of “ignore thread” it should not show that there are any new post. A “hide thread” should make it disappear altogether.

Ooooh! I really like the idea of being able to customize your title. It neatly eliminates the problem, allows us to have some more fun in here, and we should still be able to readily identify one-time and infrequent visitors who wouldn’t bother to customize their title. Great idea.
I like that… or once you make 500 posts you are awarded the ability to change it.

Yes bags will be provided, unsure of size..
And while out there yesterday, I did take notice that it is a dog friendly site, with a sign that just says to pick up after your dog. I think you asked about this before.

Yes thank you..
Robin sent me an email also letting me know and I see the attribute was also added to the listing. 🙂Are bags being provided?

WOW
I could hardly get reception today from 2-330pm. It would take about 10 min for a lock and once I got one it was completely unreliable.
Anyone else have same problem today?

On another note with this. Is there a way of tracking the caches in the county park. Because if there are only 50 caches in a counties parks, and the fee is $5 a cache they will only get $250. If this is pointed out to them they will realize that it will cost them more to maintain this each year than it will be bringing in. Especially if they realize that these are public records and we at any time can have them look up these records.
Good point, so they will probably raise the fee to $15.
