I want to say thank you for the recognition and sorry for not being at the actual meeting. Needless to say Geocaching had precedent.

    I think so as well.

But many times I seen my name like….

    PC Frog
    PCfrog
    PCFrog
    Pcfrog

Hardly do I ever see it as pcfrog. So, if people want to cap-it I would rather it be PCFrog.

I very do much appreciate the comment.

    Humm….

I already did this one but if a large group gets together for this one I’m pretty darn tempted come along and bring a video camera to record the hike and post it so others could see. It with out a doubt is worth capturing……

    change

    pcfrog
    to
    PCFrog

    Thanks…..

Well my wife and I hit some of the caches yesterday and cached in some nice palaces and also learned of a great place to suggest to our kids school for next year as a possible field trip. We will make another trip back after the campout to look for more. The only thing I would say, that is not noted, is that there are a few places that do not allow pets. I bring this up because of rising temps leaving your pet in the car might not be an option.

Good job to the set up and planning of this.

This cache is meant to be hard yet and I expect the occasional DNF but 3 in a row is what got me concerned.

Also, I typically stay away from caches that have 3-4 DNF due to the fact I don’t want to be searching for a cache that could actually be missing. Based on this I worried people will shy away when out caching.

I do how ever find that you think it’s only a lvl 3 after spending 40 min looking for it. When I check on it last I was still surprised at how well it blended into its surroundings and I know right where to look. This is the 1st time I tried to make a difficult cache placement so why I want to make sure it is rated appropriately.

Hope to hear from others that might have done the cache.

    Ratz and company

Some folks seemed to be really ripping up the area

This is also a good point I want the hint to be helpful but not give away the cache. I agree that the current hint is vague unless you found the cache. If you or Zuma have an idea for a better hint feel free to email me what you think would work.

Just put out a few more, so I have reason to head back your way. I cant afford to drive that far just for the one that I have left of yours.

Still working on that other cache with the DNR. Unfortunately since there is private land close by its being checked to make sure the cache is actually on DNR land. Who knows, maybe they find out that the whole town is actually owned by someone else and everyone will be evicted from their homes due to my cache.

The whole PCFrog gang went out with our geodog last Saturday into the woods and in total we found18 ticks crawling on us (dog as well). Hate to do it, but time to pull out the spray and wipes.

I been working on a cache to go on DNR land and today I tried to find out who the land manager was. Needless to say I called one place, sent to another, referred to a guy to call, who when I talked to him said that they don’t allow “anything” on DNR lands but he will look into it.

At this point I was like great!!!

To my surprise he called back an hour latter and told me that apparently they do have a policy to allow geocaching on DNR lands and that it up to the actual land manager to give approval. Not only that, he also looked up the person who I actually had to contact.

I was quite surprised by the service and how not only did I get a call back but the fact he also found who I needed to talk to as well.

Now only if the guy I need to call now was not on leave.

    another point for the DNR
