You can also have them hunt for a cache using the traditional method of a compass. This way they can utilize what they already know (should know) and compare it to the utilizing a GPS unit and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each.

    Hope all goes well.

I think if you’re replacing a worn out tag, any owner that is not grateful for someone taking the time to care for a bug is missing something. Now if you create tags for bugs which had none and the owner didn’t mind, then all is well. I seen a few of the ones you tagged and think nothing of it. Actually it saved me time by not having to return home to log it see what its mission is then move it along. With mission on there that says move from place to place I can drop it off the same day at another cache that I hit.

This topic was debated on GC.com quite a bit and for the most part I got from it that most people didn’t care. Some did but most thought it was a nice service when it was needed.

The two bugs I sent out have laminated paper in it which if it ever gets ruined I would hope someone would take the time to spruce it up again. And stamp the tag saying your created the new tag to show you spent the time making it.

This was already talked about and you should have listed this inside it.

So, you created what your complaining about.

I had to look up your place on the map just to know where you were. That’s far north. Anyhow, welcome.

That’s just wrong to disable with no note as to why.

Probably best to burn any firewood before carrying it.

    Shove Shove Shove….

I only made the post to make sure everyone would know about it. I did not want anyone saying they did not read about it. And as it seems it worked for you.

If I was set on flooding the post I did leave out the “geopicnic”, “for sale”, “help”, “milestone..”, “looking…”, “DNR” and lastly “recomended..”

    Thanks.
