go pack go, go pack go
I’ve been all over and found San Diego to be the greatest large city in the US in my mind. I lived there for 12-13 years and just loved it. But that was before geocaching. If I had to pick right now it would be Utah. The wife, cerilene, just returned from Salt Lake and said that she loved it there. She was busy with business but still picked up a few caches. She wants us both to go back next year. I have been through Utah many times (just beautiful) but never Salt Lake. Maybe next summer one can only hope.
Cerilene and I were in the backwoods of Pennsyvania earlier this year and i went looking for a cache. She waited in the car. Ended up being a dnf. As I was returning down the rr tracks I see cerilene walking toward me and there is something following her. It ended up being a baby kitten, about 6 weeks old, starving, bloody and dirty. We didn’t want any pets but after seeing a fox we couldn’t just leave it there to end up as fox food. So now we have Penn “The Cache Cat” living with us. He certainly is a treat. Then and now.

Amazing! So I’m assuming the safe was “uncracked?”
From what I could see, it looked as though it was never cracked. So did the hoods give up and just dump it, or were they waiting for it cool down before going back for it?
caches adopted by -cheeto-. thanks again -cheeto-.
decisions decisions. hmmmm. now how do you go about doing this? all new to me.
these caches are spread out around the Green Bay area. 2 near Howard/Suamico. 2 near De Pere. 2 on the East side of G.B. and 1 in Ashwaubenon.
while searching olde stone quarry park in door county last year for a place to hide a cache, I found the perfect rock for the hide. as i looked under this large rock i found a 4 inch piece of pvc pipe about 3 feet long with end caps. as i opened this “tube”, i realized that it was a geocache that was not listed on gc.com. inside i found trinkets (swag) and a note from a hotel in sturgeon bay stating that this was placed there for their overnight visitors to find. i replaced the cache and moved on. being in a dnr park (which needs approval) and not listed on gc.com, is this legal? not that it really matters, but i was just wondering.
marc had mentioned a milwaukee puzzle run some time ago. i started doing milwaukee puzzles but never headed south to find them. right now i have 21 ok’ed by geochecker and another 13 solved that didn’t have a geochecker. it has been some time since i even looked at these so who knows how many are still there. probably won’t even look at them again until summer now. only 3 or 4 solves left to find in mathatopia, sudokaville, camelot or selzzup.
thanks for the update and the info -cheeto-. appreciate the quick reply. now i can sleep a little easier.
