i’m feeling that, once released……….these will go nowhere except into someones personal collection somewhere down the line. they are a pretty nice looking piece. i’m really thinking about beating mine with a ball peen so it’s not so pretty before i release it. that is unless they start going for big bucks on ebay. i better hold off for a while. any offers? haha
has anyone released theirs yet?
ok it was only 135, i exagerate. but it is 11.89 miles of caches without an opening. overkill?
Interesting, I thought it was a joke and judgement of a specific type of cache placement. I didn’t realize you actually tried to find a cache placement spot!
it really was a joke to start with except the part about placing a cache. i did go to the end of 1 cachers trail and placed a container of my own. i tried to have this cache posted and i recieved notification that it was dnr property and i needed permission. this area already had 345 caches on it and i still needed permission to add 1 more?
power trails have there place for some. my record is 40 caches in a day (non trail) and i will probably never attempt to break that. i’m just saying that i went to place one cache on a specific trail and couldn’t find a spot to place it for 10 miles. packed in like sardines. i gave up. and there is no deviation in the type of hide. 345 caches in a row, all the exact same as the one before it. i would rather see 345 different co’s with 345 different hide types. power trails are not my cup of tea i guess. don’t get me wrong, i’m not saying i won’t do them
all gone
ok. there yours
i’ll sell you mine 😉
got mine in the mail today
last chance
the only place in wisconsin that sold alcohol during prohibition. mmm mmmmmm good. NOT!!!
only been to the island 3 times. as a boy scout, 40 plus yrs ago……..2 days laying carpet during a blizzard (12 years ago, central bar and that was it) and 2 hours a couple years ago. ate, saw the church of staves and had to leave. i keep hoping.
tom………….your a hundred miles from me. plus the boat ride. your talking close to 5 hours without even hunting a cache. i haven’t lived in sturgeon bay in 7 years but i still have caches in door county. i got to ellison bay once this summer. maybe next year. i doubt yet this year but who knows?
