I was looking for a cache the other day. The location has a special meaning to me. It had gone missing quite a while back. So I wrote to the CO and asked him if he would mind if I replaced the log and the very clever magnetic container. He was more than happy to let me do it. As long as you ask and don’t just take it upon yourself a lot of people are glad to have you repair or replace their caches.
