This past weekend we did an interesting virtual that involved local history.. Miata’s Fighting City Hall. It is also a good example of the older type virtuals that required some action/thought, the type missed now!!

Yes, we have a convention to attend this summer in Portland and of course a little geocaching while in the area. One of our sons (TeamVE) went to find the original and has suggested we do too. We might try the nearby Un-original also. It is GC92–how is that for a low GC cache number.
One added bit of trivia–Milwaukie is a city near Portland.

Congratulations to you and your son!!! We always enjoy your one of a kind caches with the unusual waypoint activities. One of your early ones was the one our son used to introduced us to geocaching. We wait every year for your new caches.

Thanks everyone The numbers seem to come rapidly with all the series out recently. Thanks to the geocaching community for placing all the great caches and pointing out all the interesting trails and parks.

Yes, Lucien went to help Troop 152 with the Orienteering/geocaching camporee on April 24 in Mukwonago County Park. There were about 100-150 boys there and did map reading and orienteering as well as geocaching. They had 3 different types of caches for the boys to try to find. Many of the boys really wanted help learning how to run GPS’s that they had. Turned out to be a good camporee.

    in reply to: COTM–question? #1746584

Thanks for opening this thread. I have wondered about this and noted the same sort of things, for quite awhile. We only vote for caches we have visited during the month. While we are at it, how do other teams handle it if all team members don’t agree on which cache to vote for during the month? Any way to enter two votes or does the program not check anyway?
