The grafting method does work. We were able to save a flowering crab using it and the tree is still alive and flowers yearly…30+ years later

    Congratulations

We are on our way home from a weeks conference at BSA SeaBase on the Keys. During the week 11-17 it was colder than normal so I would suggest taking layers of clothing in case that continues.

Our portion of the herd arrived today, but then we are very close to the ranch. Thanks for the effort to get them out in time for the holidays

Congratulations from us too!!! You had a great year meeting and exceeding your goals!

We agree with Trudy and the Beast about Jingle Bell Rock memories but also enjoyed Candy Cane Lane GCRJ4D because we had never been to that area to witness the holiday lights before that cache.

Thanks for the congratulations. We usually don’t mention milestones in our logs but something about this cache made it work in the log, plus we found it on our 7yr geocaching anniversary. Our son, Lucien home visiting, took us geocaching with him to LPS009 GC1EBB on Nov 3, 2001 and the rest is history.

Our oldest in WI is 1934 also. Another 1934 one we found is in New Mexico GM0215 near Philmont BSA ranch right where one trail crossed the road. The most elaborate one we found is at the corner of Nebraska and Colorado and includes the touch point of 4 counties in those two states, MN0401. An unusual one for the way it is named is PP2498 Karen. We found that with our son and family before we started using pharmteam

Two of our oldest TB’s are back with us watching me log, but Larry Ladybug TB71FF has been traveling since March 2003, visited several continents traveling 38,751 miles and even collected the pictures with flowers that we requested. He had been in a VERY difficult German cache GC170VX that was location locked/archived but the owner retrieved him and he is back out traveling. That is one cache we would not have attempted!!
