I bought a ton of Packer trading cards at Shopko years ago and I leave them in all the caches I visit. Drives the people here in Minnesota crazy!

I had a bug(Rock On) that went missing in Wisconsin on 6/27/03. Emailed the last finder who said she gave it to another cacher. I wrote it off after a year. Two more months later it re-appeared and is going strong. 14 months is a long time between caches. there is always hope.

Interesting descussion, but whoever started all this should know that the word is pantywaist, not pantywaste. I think that is something very different.

I have 16 out there and only one has gone missing. I include a tag that explains the concept of a bug and how it works. I put the bug and the attached laminated tag in a ziplock bag and put the name of the bug and its goal on the outside of the bag. Maybe I have just been lucky, but since January two of the sixteen have made their goal and the rest seem to be moving along. (Except for the one that lasted only one day) I have had over 400 bugs in my possesion. Each time I find one I put it in a bag with its name and goal on the outside of the bag. I think it helps keep the newbies from taking the bug and thinking it is only a trinket like the rest of the stuff in the cache.

You could always send them to me to sell for you. I live here and them native minnesotans still believe that a super-bowl is around the corner. PT Barnum was right.

A bug (Leggs) was snatched from Kohler Cache by kookendapope on 2/27. I have been following that bug’s progress. According to the finder, a reporter and a photographer were along to record the story. It should appear in the 3/5 edition of the paper. I forwarded a picture of the bug to a BBC producer about a month ago, to be used in a TV story about caching. Leggs is a famous bug.
