  • I’ve been trying to stay quiet on this topic, but I just have to say that a majority of WGA members did not vote to no longer log temporary caches.
The majority of members, a whopping 85%, didn’t vote on the issue at all. Which means the action taken by the board was based on the opinion of just under 10% of the active members.

Please don’t say that a majority of members voted for something when that is clearly not the case.

    End of Rant

Looks like its time for me to dust off the tent I haven’t used since Lake Wissota.

You’ll give it to someone else to hide. 😉

It looks like I will be there at least for the morning. After reading some of the logs it sounds like I will end the day with wet feet, but after a three month hiatus I figure it’s time to get back out there.

Be careful while installing the new stickers, 4 of the 5 that I installed tore in half. The 2006 stickers don’t seem to be as durable as they have been in the past.

For removing the old stickers I found a razor blade scraper with a long handle that worked very well. I also felt that the adhesive was actually easier to remove while it was cold. The warmed adhesive just gummed up the edge of the blade.

I just thought of another one. It’s time to get your 2006 Wisconsin State Parks and Forests vehicle stickers.

Be prepared to spend a little more than you did last year. Resident stickers are now $25, $12.50 for each additional reduced rate at same address.

I just assumed it was time for The Beast to issue his predictions for 2006.

I see that this seller believes the coins have already tripled their value. Maybe I’ll wait a year and see what I can get for the extras I ordered.

Nah, they will most likely end up as first finder prizes. That is if I ever finish the planning stages of the cache series I’m working on.

My wrist is fine, and the scratches are already healing and barely noticable.

It will probably come as no surprise to anyone that this is not the first time that I have been called a turkey.

I usually take about a week before I post. I can say that I did fall once, but only CB & MB were there to see it.
