The missions are always rain or shine, and I will be there.
I just went to the GC forums and checked an event. The Found It log is gone from events, but the Attended log counts the same as the Found It. So It sounds like to log the caches we would have to use the Attended log.
In the forums all I could find were people whining that temp event caches don’t meet the GC.com criteria, so they shouldn’t be logged as finds. Which is kind of funny because I always thought it was the cache owner that decides what will or will not count as a find. It also reminded me why I avoid the GC forums.
non-govt funded rx for obesity
Would that be a “non-government funded prescription for obesity.”
It sounds like another name for caching, but I guess the government did spend billions on all those satellites.
Thanks, I should have known that if I stayed at 300 too long someone would notice. There go my plans to have a couple caching marathons to see if I could get to 400 without anyone noticing that I passed 300.
My next goal is to get to 400 before my anniversary date on October 24.
It looks like we wouldn’t be the first finders of this one. Someone named bennyhil has already found it. It was his first find, which leaves me to think sock puppet, but ya never know, he could have just wanted to go for a swim.
Why is it these underwater caches seem to appear just when the water is getting colder.
Add me to the list with water, ice and cooler.
Justin
I can finally confirm that I will be there. Now I just hope the weather cooperates.
Just a bump to beat the horse.

Actually, I recall from a previous post that they purchased two.

I checked the page again, we’re up to 1789 logs and someone has cancelled their watch, so we’re down to one watcher.
I just checked the page again. We’re up to 1366 logs, and still 2 watchers.
I purchased all four of my stickers in November at our local DNR service center just so I could get 14 months for the price of 12. Of course I’ll probably buy my 2005 stickers again in November so it will end up being only 12 months.
Linus has placed Capture The Flag VII in Beloit. I see that Tishman has already captured the flag, and Cashing Out and wzbt03 have already been there. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=0bb4bd11-9482-4809-a89a-a31cca996aed
Thanks everyonem, my first 200 have been a lot of fun. Now that I have placed my first cache I can’t drive by a park without thinking, “Where could I hide a cache?” It’s too bad I have to slow down on caching to finish up all those home improvement projects I’ve been putting off since last fall.
I see that CTF VI is Lucy’s first hide. That makes two in a row.
