Oh CREEPY! That sounds like that movie The Ring! If a girl with long hair came out of there I’d shriek and run in the manner of a small child!

I’ll bite too. What is the “audit log”?

So have you turned the old cachemobile into a cache yet? I found one in Amsterdam by someone who did just that! It was called “Lang Parkeren?”. It even had plants growing in it.

I just went through this removal process too! I also used one of those razor blade gizmos. The blade kept slipping out and I almost sliced my digits up! I have learned to not put the sticker so low in the corner. That definitely makes it harder to get the required leverage to scrap the little bugger off.
I used plain rubbing alcohol to remove the remaining adhesive. That disolved it pretty good.
I agree I would rather pay a family rate, instead of dealing with those stickers on two vehicles, and have a card or placard that would hang from the mirror or something. As a ranger I would prefer if those things went on the back window of the vehicle so they would be easier for me to check in a parking lot. But they are put up front so booth workers can see it when you pull in.
At the very least I wish there was a five year sticker or something so you didn’t have to scrape and rub yearly. I suppose that wouldn’t allow for fee increases though.Wow that’s subtle!
I guess you know where you stand. I’ve noticed logs in other states, especially the west coast are more critical and will really blast caches they don’t like.
Here in the Midwest folks seem to usually keep negative comments to themselves. Even when the cache turns out to be a Glad sandwich holder behind the 6 trees at the local fast food joint they are still polite in the logs. I think the one line short TFTC type log is your best clue in these parts.Whoops! I missed that openeing scene first time around. Watched again from DVR. Oh boy it was definitely buried! I see Jeremy Irish added a disclaimer on the GC site about burying caches.
I also laughed at what I thought was a ridiculous notion of 30 caches in one park. According to the GC forum I actually lowballed the park in question. It has like 200! Wow, super saturation.I just finished watching the episode. My overall impression is that it didn’t make geocaching look bad or anything. Is it just me or was the cache in question buried? Maybe it was just heavy leaf cover. I hope people didn’t get the message that caches need to be dug up.
One other note: 30 caches in one park! talk about cache saturation issues!quote:

Well actually you can, that was one of the loopholes I read about.
Anyway, I am a PM, I don’t mind paying at all because I think it is the best and easiest to use geocache website. The sport has given me countless hours of enjoyment and discovery.
I guess my concern is that if I make a MO cache some people will be ofended and consider this elitist. But the more I read about hooligans, such as the one in Colorado that stole 156 Travel Bugs, the more I wonder if the MO cache will become a common way to prevent cache pirates in the future.I get confused with all the spinoffs. Which one is it? Law & Order: Parking Ticket Checker, Law & Order: School Crossing Guard Unit, or Law & Order: 12 Items or Less Grocery Checkout Line Enforcement Unit?
Thanks for the help. Finally tracked this doozy down. Never did find #2 though. That is one steep and slippery hill it is on!

Oh, I wish I would have known that. I could have offered my copy to you to read. I actually got a paperback copy in India dirt cheap since they charge in rupees.
Maybe I should put it in a cache for a trade item.
So the Count of Monte Cristo was probably not a cacher and not a big fan of the cachet.
If you hunted any of mine you probably know I like devious, but not ridiculous, hides. The kind that make you slap your head because you were staring at it all along.
Of course sharing a neat location is always good.

Sorry, but despite me being in hot water for going to this game on Christmas Eve, my 4 tickets are accounted for. That’s why I buy crummy Vikings season tickets, just to get the GB game.
However, I did get an offer from the Vikings for additional playoff tickets. I can order some for you if you want. Of course we don’t know if they’d host GB come post season. If they play no one at home I get refunded.12/02/2004 at 6:50 am in reply to: Whitnallgps is a finalist in the Packer Fan Hall of Fame con #1737602I’m convinced. Especially after he drove all the way to Reedsburg in the hopes that my NFL ticket giveaway cache last August was holding prized Packer tickets!
Alas they were just Vikings tickets, which are hard to even give away. -
