We went to Rapids last night to see the Del McCoury Band….great show. We saw them three years ago in Iowa, on a double bill with Fleck and Washburn. We were happy to have seen only one deer on the way home, which is really quite remarkable, considering we had to travel much of the way through Meadow Valley.
We went caching in Wisconsin Rapids yesterday and we saw about 30-40 deer on the way home, most of them on 173 so we saw your share too!! Thankfully we didn’t hit any.

I finally decided to pay up and send off a payment of $30. This should make things go faster as I learn the various aspects of GSAK. Even if I only ever do the logging thing with GSAK, I still won’t have to deal with that arduous nag screen. . .I was up to 3 1/2 minutes on that thing.
I personally find GSAK a great program. The $30 fee is a small price to pay. Logging caches with it is great, especially when you have done a power trail. You can make all logs the same or edit each one or as many as you choose-your choice. You can even log travel bugs and post pics. Hope you like it as you explore it.
Saw about 20 robins on my follow-up expedition today. Do they know something we don’t know?
Some of them do not go south for the winter but I sure hope these are some that know something that we don’t know!!!
I tried to vote today in the WGA elections. When I clicked to submit, the screen turned blank below the WGA elections banner (see picture). There wasn’t any message confirming the vote was received. Is that normal? I’m not sure if my vote counted!
That’s what happened for me, too. When I went back into the voting screen it said that I had already voted, so I assume that my votes were counted.
Ditto what BigJim said.
It did the same for me. It wouldn’t let me vote again, so I figured it tallied.
I just checked and yes everyone rest assured your votes did register. Thank you for voting 🙂

We were very fortunate, our neighbor came down and plowed our driveway so we didn’t have to get out in the below zero weather plow. We were also fortunate because the amount of snow we were supposed to get went else where 🙂
