Attended 1 event in Wisconsin and 1 in Minnesota. Plus did 9 other caches and hit #1500 today. Glad we were able to participate.

thanks for the congrats. #1400 gave us a bit of trouble but we just kept on going and it was satisfying when things worked out like they were supposed to.

We haven’t done this one yet but Eau Claire Hobo Camps GC1H7AZ sounds interesting. Hope we get a chance to do it soon.

Don’t know how many of you get the LTD book but their Harvest 2010 book has the original Lock & Lock in it. They must be original as they have the trademark symbol after the name. They offer 2 different sets-10 pc and 20 pc. The 10 set is round and includes 1 each of the following: 3 oz, 8 oz, 16 oz, 29 oz, 47 oz and lids. They sell for $9.95 + shipping of course!

The 20 pc set has 1 each of the following: 6 oz rectangle, 11 oz rectangle, 14 oz square, 23 oz square, 29 oz rectangle, 43 oz tall, 27 oz rectangle, 54 oz rectangle, 88 oz (not sure on shape just says large!), and 152 oz (not sure on shape just says extra large) and lids. These sell for $25.95 + shipping.

I have never priced lock & locks – does anyone know if this is a good deal??

I usually care a spare set of batteries in my pocket. Roger on the other hand, usually doesn’t. Last time he was out caching alone, he fofgot to take the extra set of batteries I told him to grab and his gps died. He then used the nuvi in the car to get about 8 more. I also carry a set or two of the lithium batteries in my geobag and then I have a couple sets of rechargeables in the charger which I try to keep in my geomobile. I don’t want to be without batteries!!!!
