  • How about June 9th or 10th or 23rd or 24th. One day only

Should we try to get something together for June?

Nothing real elaboate, a few caches and lunch or lunpper ( lunch/supper)?

I think the more permission requests or approval asking or regulation by authorities is a slippery slope. I could see over regulation, really limiting the creative juices. Most often rules are put in place to generate money and the exercise power and control IMO.

😳 I have not heard anything so I figured Brett and Tim had
it set. It is a busy time of year so maybe they got sidetracked. I’m sure Brett will let us know if another organizing meeting or our help is needed. Maybe we could get together to strategize a few of us going for the latest coin quest? Pam

😀 Looks like it’s all good now! Congrats

🙄 I could be off base here but it seems that the most long lasting sports have been the ones that allow, even welcome, all different levels and interest areas of participation. Some people love getting the numbers, some people go for the big hikes, some people see the short hikes to unique spots or creative hides as the best part of the sport.

So as the sport grows and developes perhaps specially logging centers will help with the congestion? I am sure the computer types can come up with all sorts of solutions when the situation needs tweaking. Perhaps you put in all your info and hit a button to send the information in the middle of the night?

Just imagine the differnt leagues or divisions and the cool events that kind of organized diversity might create! I have noticed that groups who restrict membership or discount groups with a different focus than the majority generally inhibit membership and hurt the group as a whole.

    Just my morning thoughts. Pam

I think your caches are wonderful. I am amazed at what you come up with I would love to learn from you but I think it would be like asking Einstien to tutor Home Simpson 😆

If you would like to give me some help that would be great. I keep looking at your caches trying to figure out how to even start them 😳

    Thanks Pam 😀

    🙂
I think we did 4 of them in one day. They are pretty good hikes up and down many hills. We were tuckered. Good luck if you try to do them all.
We stopped at Rockton Bar for the Sat. prime rib dinners. Good luck Ratz

😀 Sunday 3PM at Nutbush to meet and talk. Sounds great. I will contact some cachers in the area to see if they want to meet and talk about an event. Pam

    or

    April 18th

❓ Who would be willing to place a cache or two within 15- 20 miles area around the the shelter/place and not list them till a couple days before the event so we have some new caches to go to? This would require some of us to postpone our lust/addiction for caches, otherwize it might be like already finding all the Easter eggs before the day of the Easter hunt 😆 Pam

😆 Thraxman Henry Kissinger of Geocaching! If you are not too buzy there is a little squabble in Iraq that could use your translation skill.

I have been thinking of when might be warm enough to be nice and looking at some shelters at county parks. What is everyones time line? How about April 1st? 1PM till a cook out dinner? Pam

How about a roll call on the regional forum?

Ratz and company live a couple of miles outside of West Salem.

Maybe we should have a gathering?
