WTG D&J wish i could be out there with ya. Soon I hope back to the Doc this week. Been stuck waiting for my milestone for a while now.
There are some cases that a group will cache and sign an abbreviated signature. I know that I have signed in many ways myself for instance, SGRCWW, BAG, RW and a few others. I have also been known to just put a brand new penny. If it is only a few caches that no signature appears I would not sweat it but if someone cleaned out a whole area of 30 or so with no signature that would raise me eyebrow.
I saw that also and thought. . . I wonder if Hotdogs off Trail had anything to do with it.
What’s the big deal? If you know it is there and have something to hide then don’t look for the cache. I ignore all caches from that CO anyways because of all the drama. Cams and door locks just keep a honest man honest.
He contacted me with questions. He did have the correct solve but did not trust his math since the container is not in the cemetery. Went out the next day and made the find. No I have to get out there and replace the wet log.
I was FTF on that cache. It is not really that hard just many places it could be. I remember the cords as pretty close to spot on. Bring a light and dont bump your head.
I say the tool got dull and could no longer carve stone. The hardware store was under new management and they no longer stocked new ones. They decided to stock those new fangled things called pencils. The calender maker tried to continue but broke the lead.
congrats Ralph
I wonder if he made it to eagle scout? Then he could soar over the peak for visits. Great story.
I got mine in the mail today. Cant wait to win that ounce of gold.
Congrats. Go home and break out the smiley face toaster and have one on me. 😆
Preform tubes are better than bison tubes. Eventually a bison tube leaks or the threads get striped. Preform’s very seldom leak and are almost indestructible. They only cost .80. You can get them from school supply stores. They sell them as small test tubes. Also check out SteveSpanglerScience.com
Welcome to the game. Maybe someday we will cross paths out on the trail. Rcflyer2242, McFarland, Wis
We have found quite a few in caches. Most people now days trade them at events.
Since your new I would suggest you make an effort to make it to the WGA picnic on 9/22 at Pike lake. It is a good way to meet fellow cachers and learn a few tricks. Also a fine time to find the oldest cache in the state.
