Devils Lake is close. I would suggest you try to make the WGA picnic at Pike Lake next month. That is if your looking for a good time. Welcome to the game/club.
Congrats. Wish we could have been there.
Congrats Steve. Getting down is the hard part. Could not have picked a better day to climb that mileSTONE.
While at a sporting goods store I noticed prices for 50 cal ammo cans at 17.99. I talked to a sales man and he said they sell fast. Check the prices on E bay. I truly believe a lot of them are going missing from cachers. I have had 3 stolen this year and will not replace them with cans. One was a custom painted one commemorated to my Mom. I am using what I have left to store ammo in, no hiding them in the woods.
I agree with both Muggle and Smashing. With the rash of challenge caches i think they are getting out of control. What is a challenge cache but a painted over ALR. Wording on a challenge is “In order to log this you must find (insert challenge here)”. Wording on a ALR cache is ” In order for you to log this you must take a picture of (insert your request here)”. What’s the difference? Same requirement different wording.
I also agree that if a cacher publishes a challenge they should be able to prove that they them selves have completed it. Not have one published then chase around the country just to qualify for your own cache.
To me a challenge is a feat of skill. Does not take much skill for a lot of challenges out there. We found 65 puzzle caches in one day and believe me there was no challenge in solving or finding them. Just some time behind a screen and the wheel. This is just my opinion. We all play the game in our own way, if people want to publish those types of caches so be it, just make sure you qualify for it.
Twice in the last few weeks to get more than 200 caches in one day inching closer to 6000. Watch it your nuvi is guna die working it that hard. LOL
WTG JeffI think we can, I think we can help again this year. Jim wingwalkers says he had a blast working that drill on the batter. I don’t know about flipping this year but i might help flinging them to the crowd. LOL

Congrats on 4K
All ammo cans are sold. I hope to find them all hidden someplace for me to find. Thanks to all interested.
Wow I was the last finder almost a year ago. Your description does not sound like the same one i found. I remember a small peanut butter jar, I even dropped a tb that wanted to stay in the Rockford area . I see the cache owner has not logged in in quite a while so you cant e-mail them. Maybe you found a final to a puzzle. Who knows, don’t worry, be happy take the smile an move on.
I am open for offers also. I will also meet half way for delivery on more than one can. Try beating the price on that auction web site. Don’t forget these are already painted. Need the room for a shotgun reloader so Jim (wingwalker) can shoot black powder loads in his cowboy action shooting. Can not buy black powder shotgun loads so have to make them.
Message me with your offers. I am only selling half of what i have. Need to store the loaded shells someplace.Even though she does not read the forums WTG Pat. I hope you enjoyed your cheese cake.
explain that again 🙄 😆
