  • Congrats you two. Plan on heading down there again when the football badgers will be there for yet another Bowl victory.

WTG Steve. I look forward to a whole new world of caches in the Madison area. Good luck with the county. I have tried myself and all they want is that 20 bucks. I guess we can say Your the man.

Darn that’s to bad. We got ahold of (Emma, Kate, and Kennedi’s Kema)http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=2799978 and moved it across country brought it a lot of places and put 20,000 miles on it. Handed it off to another cacher who was able to bring it to Alaska to fulfill it’s mission. I see it is still moving along and now has 29,000 miles.
I understand all to well the cost of missing TB’s darn it all the people that have to ruin it for others.

I think you missed my point. I am not irritated from my caches being found, it’s the fact that every 10 minutes my email goes “you have mail”. I would rather have a cut and paste log 58 times over a 30 minute period than 58 TFTC logs one every ten minutes for 5 hours.
It does not seem convient to me to post a log for 2 or 3 caches only to go home and then edit your log. Why take two steps when you only have to take one.
I admit when I get TFTC logs I get a little upset but only on a few of them. I think when you find a container that has a sculpture of Mount Rushmore screwed to the lid or a hand carved item attached to the container or something similuar the cacher could at least put “Cool Container TFTC” or “enjoyed the container” or something like that. The preform tubes or bison’s its no problem I understand a TFTC.

Just my opinion. Thats all. Generally don’t mean squat anyway.

My thoughts about this subject are. When your only doing two caches, why is it so important to place a log with a cell phone as soon as you find it. If they were FTF’s I would understand but neither of the two caches they did were. I have a hard time understanding why some people are in such a hurry logging caches by cell phone. Does anybody understand how irritateing it is when you get logs for a 5 or 6 hour time from the same cacher running our bike trail and logging from cell phones and all they say is TFTC, even on the ammo cans and custom containers.

Maybe it is just me but slow down and enjoy things a bit more. Whats the hurry?

I was removing some carpet in an apartment for replacement when mom wingwalker told me about what was going on. I got back just in time to see the second plane hit. If it matters my vote goes for either Bartrod or Timberline Echoes as they had the tough job of keeping the small kids from getting all upset.

If you do not hear back from Rhonda in a week then assume that your placement will be ok. You usually do not hear back from her unless it is not ok for that spot.
Good Luck and Hello from McFarland

$5.00 ? Would that include a certificate for a free burger at culvers and a scoop of custard from the place around the corner of the entrance to the park? If not then I would pass and take the plastic one.

    in reply to: Challenges #1952081

I wash my hands of all challange caches unless there is a container involved with a log I have to sign. I logged a Two of them with what I thought was a funny comment. Well what I think is funny must be way off cus one archived his and complained, the other says not accepted. These challange things are just a way for groundspeak to get people to spend more time on there site.
I had a challange that I asked you to put a flag by a veterans grave and the frog archived it. Go figure a challange that had a real meaning and they shut it down.
Sorry if i offended either of the two I logged, they were meant to be a joke, (not saying the ones I logged were jokes) just like the challange portion of the groundspeak site.
