        Thanks, all. This cache was just waaay fun.. a real treat. Many thanks to geolivestrong.

        I’ve nominated White River (Multiple) Crossings (GC24QEF) for COTM, so get out there and check it out! Then you’ll have the option to vote for it and I think you’ll want to.
        I’m delighted to have it as my milestone so I’ll be reminded of it in the future.

        sandlanders – now is a good time to go. Before deer gun season and with the current water level. I fretted beforehand too… that makes getting it done so sweet! Look at the pics I posted.

            Looks like I’m in for a very entertaining trip to Fleet Farm!

            But the itty bitty bison comment is right on the mark… I need castration rings for hamsters?

                Wow – I finally found the “little magnifying glass” you referred to – I never recognized that icon as a magnifying glass and never checked it before. This will be a BIG help to me. Thanks a TON!

                I’m sure there’s an awful lot I’m not taking advantage of just because I don’t know it’s there. Live and learn.

                    Having uniform containers for the program is a good idea.
                    If the cost of the containers is a sticking point for the DNR, couldn’t we find 20 people here willing to donate $30 each?

                      Bravo! Bravo! You’ve done a fabulous job with this and I’d be happy to volunteer. This is a great thing for WGA to do.

                      The one thing I don’t like has already been pointed out. – The statement that most geocaches are placed a significant distance from parking is simply untrue. It’s a point that would be important to many of the folks attracted to this program. We would look bad early in anyone’s investigation of the sport if they’re expecting this. Truthful statements can be made about this series of caches being a given minimum distance from parking and I’d suggest sticking with that.

                            Not so weird really… I needed to pee. Looked around a bit too. I went back on the most major deer route I could find. It worked out well.

                              Thanks for the info on ratings changing – very interesting!

                              I was very thankful for those wonderful deer trails yesterday – some were better than others but any trail at all is a big help.

                              Had no trouble with breaking through into water yesterday.

                                On 2nd thought – maybe that was my own error? I still have that same question though. Can a cache owner change the ratings after a cache has been published?

                                  The terrain on this cache was reduced to a 4 sometime between yesterday AM when I set out and PM when I posted my log! I’ve only done a handful of terrain 4 or harder but this was by far the hardest. Bummer. I’m still glad I went but that just doesn’t seem right. Has this happened to any of you?
