I ALWAYS enjoy caching with SGH and BB. We’ve been to graveyards, Testicle Festivals, giant trees, snow-covered flowages…tell you what, it’s been fine and I hope to be alongside for a few more on the way to 20K.

Hey, no better way to grab 1/2 a grand than with some grand folks. It’s been almost 3 years of wood ticks, frostbite, lost sunglasses, and “oh, geez – there’s a road right near the cache – why’d I bushwhack 3/4 mile through the swamp?” 🙄 What fun. A great time with fine people at the Anchor! Great to meet Blue Cougar and Mrs. Sandlanders and wish a happy birthday. Many other great conversations had along with BROASTED CHIX dinner with my sweechie. AND, the event was my 500th find. Cache on and THANKS!

We had a fine time! Our 1st caching trip to West Bend; our friends in Newburg who own a B&B sent us an early newspaper article, and suggested we join them. 😀 Turned out to be just 7 miles up the road, and a great idea. Even Mrs. refelo joined in.

Didn’t get back to grab my name badge; any way they can mail them to us? I did pay the $. Otherwise … oh well.

For a 2nd event, this was well organized and lots of fun. THANKS!

Hey, way to go, and what better team than Sparse and Blondie! 😀 And, I agree; it is always delightful to read your well composed posts rather than some of the well composted posts of other hosts. Sparse Grey Hackle and Blondie Bloodhound exemplify the spirit of geocaching. With a motto of “Safety is No Accident” a mission statement of “There is no “I” in TEAM”, and a creedo of “Penmanship Counts!”, they add that little bit of je ne sais quoi and a whole lot of FUN to every find. I have been honored to accompany them on a few of the pages of that map. Today, Wisconsin, tomorrow – the WORLD! Or, at least the sovereign state of Winneconne. Cache on! -refelo
