Thanks for the votes already cast.
Because the online story makes it appear that I’m from Fort Huachuca, Arizona I probably will lose some of the local vote. My son nominated me, and they put his address down. Please spread the word if you can, that I am indeed local (Wausau) and could use the votes every day. Thanks again for all the votes so far!
Voting is now open – I appreciate any support you can give by voting for Rick Wiltzius . . . .from Wausau!
(not Fort Huachuca – they put my son’s city because he nominated me!)Wow, been a busy summer, but a big CONGRATULATIONS Mathman.
Two Thousand, Six Hundred – can you believe it? Remember back in ’06
when getting to 500 like OPS was so unbelievable? Really big numbers to
celebrate these days, nice to see you caching along, and along, and along!WTG Seth and Marie! It’s no wonder we never see you caching in Wisconsin anymore. So little time, and so many states!
Congratulations Ecorangers!
Your accomplishments really do highlight that this game can be anything a person (or family) wants it to be. I’m pretty happy with finding 250 in about 8 months and it was amusing to me to sign my name in a log down in Sheboygan right behind the “Ecorangers” yesterday, only to come home and see you found one of my caches up near Wausau, at about the same time.
Cache Happy
Thank you all – I used to live out in that area and visited that spot plenty in the 80’s, so it was really special to find the cache.
Thanks everyone! But a bigger thanks to everyone that has placed a cache and given all the rest of us an opportunity to see so many of the interesting places in Wisconsin . . . and beyond.
Congrats on 9K and the Red Rock Canyon anyway. I agree on the ET highway caching, don’t even want to head over there. Give me about 3 days in Red Rock and I’ll be happy!
Congratulations on hitting 2700 finds.
Always nice to see another red signature in the logs!
Thanks for all the congratulations, and thanks to Black Cat for putting out the “Part Deux” DeLORME challenge. We still have the original DeLORME to finish, but there are so many places we want to go back to, that it shouldn’t be a problem. This state really is so beautiful once you get out past the “dead ends”!
I really expected some others to be finishing this challenge before us, but then I also didn’t think we would finish until spring. Tammy really got into the challenge and we were together to find more than half of the pages. Truly some marathon trips where we racked up miles with only a few caches found – but that’s the way we like it! And, the 2200 miles only counted the trips that were strictly for caching. Probably at least another 1000 miles to find a few caches along the way on trips planned for other purposes.
Glad you liked the logs
Cache Happy!!Wow, now I know what that breeze was! It was TBC passing me up to get to 2400. Appreciate everything you’ve done for geocaching including your great hides. Conratulations on #2400 with many more to come!
Congratulatios on finding 240 X 10 caches at an appropriate event. Didn’t get a chance to stick around and talk, but I’m sure we’ll be back out on the trail soon. WTG
Congratulations on #700
It sure doesn’t seem like we’ve been seeing your name in the logs long enough for you to be at 700 already. We all must be having fun!
Cache Happy
Congratulations Dale on both the #500 and finishing BINGO!
If you’re back, that means we’ll be seeing you at the occasional FTF party.
Practice your FTF dance!!Congratulations on the big 2 0 double 0
Gotta love the caches that have lasted through a few years. Hope to make it up to that cache for one of my milestones too!
