Thank you all, that trip was fun – especially driving 8-10 miles on unplowed roads & snowmobile trails.
Don’t think I’ll ever make it to Mt. Everest, so I’ll plan something else for 2000, and I’m driving to Vegas in April, then over to Georgia, so I think #2000 will come somewhere during that trip.
Thanks again – and thanks GMO for the invite (was really his trip that I hijacked for my milestone), as well as the navigational duties
I’m still a go for this trip. I think I saw the plan was to start from the parking area at noon, so I will be there by then. (Unless I see otherwise)
Will probably stop at a few caches on the way up just to break up the long drive. Hopefully TBC still able to make it, and would have room for a couple more.
Congratulations, as late as they may be!
Nice to have;
met you
recieved great hugger award
been awed by your caching accomplishments
attended Cache-Ba$h
…..and the list could go on and on as you guys do!@Team Black-Cat wrote:
Might take you up on the, Rick. I’ll let you know ASAP.
That would be a blast – would enjoy the company on the ride!
I’m still making an attempt to make this trip, however, I do work Friday night and would prefer not to have to take a full day of vacation. I plan on driving up as early as need be to make the trek on Saturday. What is the proposed start time and location?
Also, I will be alone, so if others in the area would want to make the trip, I have room in the vehicle.
I’m looking at making it on this expedition! Two finds this weekend and the pictures show there is NO ice to walk on yet!
WTG Mike, congratulations on the milestone and the coice of caches for it. Hadn’t checked the area recently, so didn’t know there was a cache there. Next trip to GB will take care of that!
Cache happy —
Congratulations on 5000 and continuing to set the pace for the rest of us.
Always nice to see you at the events and the occasional pier!Cache Happy —

Yup, I be one o dem slackers! It was even fun when Mathman was leading and stopped duddenly as the trail ended. Where’d they go?Congratulations to Matt on the 2000th cache log signed. Notice I don’t say ‘finds’, cause I’m not sure he actually found anything yesterday.
Thanks to OPS and the rest of the expedition that ‘paved’ the trail to the cache, without which, I may have had to carry, or drag Mathman back to the car. I’m pretty sure we’d have only seen half as much of these beautiful woods, if we’d walked stragiht to the cache. Glad we followed your scenic trail to see it all !! 🙄
Only about a week late, but BIG congratulations on your ability to
Git R’ Done especially on the DeLorme.Actually, that was the start of the day and # 1798
Wanted to get a couple climbs in. That one was first, then celebrated with a Big Bang up in Tomahawk right before I hit #1800 at “Army / Navy Hill” GC20C18Tammy organized the tour for us, and sent me on a few missions to get to the milestone. Thanks Cachers!
I was just looking into that and it appears the GC# is correct, but that One Paddle Short is just a little “Bashful” to report there 1500th find.
Anyway, a big CONGRATULATIONS to the whole family, and also thanks for the early guidance into the game!
Cache Happy
Congrats on another milestone passed. Heard the story straight out of the horse’s.. .. ..er, rsplash’s mouth when we met on the trail at Rib Mountain. Actually glad I wasn’t along to find that baggie with you.
Still glad we met up on the mountain to trade a few more stories — that’s the best part of caching!
Adding my congratulations to Dennis & Lisa for keeping up that pace and hitting 4K — Also a big thanks for many hides!
And we are closing in on a million worldwide! (not all cemetaries though)
That WSQ is only 193 miles from here — do I make the run?
