schizophrenics are people two!
lately i’ve been caching alone. I think the biggest issue with caching with someone is finding someone who enjoys the same pace. I’m far from a power cacher….more of a meandering cacher.
when ever I see a turkey, i think of the one that almost flew into my head when I was riding my motorcycle….stupid bird
wow…i guess i should check in here more often. If you’re still looking for someone to go cachin with, i’m in Sheboygan. Or anyone else for that matter. Feel free to drop me an email jpaske at hot mail dot com
My dad (rpaske) and I were discussing this while hitting a few cemetery caches in and around Washington county a couple months ago. I did feel kind of disrespectful as I was reaching up into a tree to pull out a film canister as someone came to visit a grave. Its like anything else, if everyone were respectful of the land/property/others that use the area there wouldn’t be a problem. But, there’s always going to be that 2% that screws it up for the rest of us.
My brother and I went Sunday morning….we were to busy beating on the test drive trucks to look at the vendors lol

Cachew John
sorry it took a while to get back too you…just moved (again) and don’t have the ‘net at home yet. I got it all straightened out shortly after the campout, thanks though.
I’ll put another word in for being able to DL early. It would be handy for those with custom icons and such. Also, something got buggered up with my unit at the campout after I got the coords uploaded to my unit. I’m not laying blame on anyone, It was just frustrating having my GPSr doing its own thing 90% of the time….got to the point where i just turned it off and was a tag along to the group i was with.
To make a long story even longer, I’d just be more comfortable using my own computer and other equipment to upload and sort, and all that good stuff.
avi8r has one of them ther fancy schmancy treo thingers. I have to say, its a nifty gadget. I think i’d break it in about 2 days though.
Rpaske has been using his cell phone to get online while camping lately. It sounds like its really slow, but its better then nothing i guess.

That’s where I ended up purchasing my 60CS. I’ve never had a problem with the unit. Although i’ve only had it about 8 months or so.
it rained up here pretty good for about 2 minutes, now its just sprinkling….I was hoping for some Lightning and some thunderboomers.
dave, i think you need to lay off the coffee, and take a nap 🙂
lol
razor wire around the cache?
they already have nano-cache containers. People have come up with all kinds of clever super micro hide containers. If i remember right there was a post in the geocaching.com forums about unique containers and a few if the nanocaches were pictured.
I used to not like urban micros…until caching yesterday with dad…..we found about 6 caches and when we were done i found 7 wood ticks. With another “find” this morning. I think i’ll wait until a couple frosts before going out in the woods again.
yur the best!
