oy……that sounds like alot of work…..cut/copy/paste, open word…..i should get rapske to make me a macro lol
I always figured that the people who are willing to pay the annual fee to be a premium member would be more conscientious cachers……soooooooooo if I were to have a cache in a sensitive area, i’d make it a members only cache in the hopes of keeping damage (cache trails and the like) to a minimum.
just my random thought for the day.
like, fer sure
No…..i just giggle because things said on a message board can piss people off.
according to the manual, the compass is more accurate if held horizontal. But that really hasn’t been an issue….since most of the time i use the compass screen i’m hiking, and have the unit in hand. The screen is visable from all angles.
i’ll 2nd the hound. I really really like my CS, i’ve had it for about 6 months now, and haven’t had any problems with it.

you want an adventure? try autorouting with just topographic maps loaded….it’ll take you to the middle of nowwhere about 10 miles away from the cache and tell you to go cross country.
I looked for the translation button, but there wasn’t an option for greek lol
my 60cs is a battery miser too. Never really kept tabs on how long they last though.
My dad (rpaske) got into the hobby a few years ago. Then my brother got into it. then, after a couple years of mocking on my part, I purchased my GPSr, and got into the hobby.
Well, after today, i’m sure they’ll be out in force in no time….Just about hit 80 up here in the north woods.
i’ll try to make it. I’m a complete newbie when it comes to placing caches, so i’m hoping for some guidance. I have plenty of containers.
just tell ’em you have a full price sticker on another vehicle registered to the same address….you don’t need “proof”….at least at the parks i’ve gotten stickers at…..Pike Lake, Wyalusing, Gov. dodge, Mauthe Lake….

Both of the vehicles being stickered must be registered to the same owner address.
Our parks need every dime they can get. I hate to think that anyone would get a discounted sticker that was not really for their second vehicle.
spring? wuzzat?
One of the guys where i work up here predicted the ice won’t come off the lakes until mid may this year……I sure as heck hope he’s wrong
