Now that I’ve got my Google Nexus One running Android 2.1, I’ve been using c:geo. The developer is very active and the app gets updates around once or twice a week. Very good application. Now with that said I haven’t used any other Geocaching applications on the Android. There is an official Groundspeak Geocaching application for Android in the works and is in beta testing.
I actually had plans to attend another event that day, before the HWY 10 CITO even got published. Otherwise I would have been there helping.
You really are Seldom Seen, I was looking forward to actually meeting you at an event in Appleton.

Holy crap ryan 10% ?!?!?! thats like 90 ammo cans….what the heck do you have up your sleve!!!
I will never tell 🙂
And now we’ll never know… Unless Ryan has been the one doing this outrageous bidding!
At $5 a can, you can almost pay that little when they’re on sale at Fleet Farm. Thanks to zuma for offering to handle the bidding for our cartel. The ammo can party would have been fun. 🙁
Haha, it wasn’t me who was doing the high bidding. I’m guessing it was an ARMY surplus store that will resell them for a nice profit.

If possible, put me down for 10%.
I have a few spare tags, I just need something to attach them too.
Congrats, it was good to meet ya again in Camelot. I was following you most of the day Friday. Bout every log had Astro D and Duck505 logged as a find.

I’m thinking a military humvee? Anyone got one?
Humvee? That’s so 90’s. We need us an MATV or a Hemmit! 😈
Second on the MATV, I’ve been in one at work and they are sweet.

I was awake working at that time and didn’t feel anything in Appleton. Didn’t go that far north.

OMG, just another gadget so you can keep in touch!
All these fancy …. things …. such as twitter, facebook, and who knows what else is out there …. are like the old fashion baby blanket. Or mother’s apron strings.
I really do not care where Justin is right now. Nor if Benny is working, like he should be. Or what BQ had for supper last night. Blah, blag, blog!
Give me a break!! Better yet, get a life!
How about some quality time with your own family? Read a good book. Volunteer your time for a deserving activity. Go caching!
Actually this just is a location service that is sent from your smart phone automatically. Nothing about what I am eating or what I am doing. I think this tool will be helpful for your family while out caching.

Quit harrassing people into living their lives the way you think they should be led!
Oh, sorry, that was another thread… 😈
In all seriousness, I would use this in a heartbeat if it were available for our phone model.
The reason? We run (duh). And we have talked about the fact that when I am 15 miles away from home it would be nice to see if I am in fact still moving or have gotten in trouble. Because while Marc might not miss me I have been assured by my wife that she would, and I guess I give her priority.
So, I keep my phone set to emergency-locate capable, and would be happy to add a feature like this. And I’m guessing when the kids learn to drive it might come in handy, though I’m probably glad they didn’t have it when I was 16… 😯
What phone model do you use? This works best with a phone running the Android OS.
02/08/2010 at 2:41 am in reply to: Anyone else need to log-in again and again on geo.com???? #1921670I notice if I use Geocaching.com on a different browser or computer I have to re-loggin each time. This is my thought process on what is happening. When you log in on a new computer it creates a cookie linking your loggin with that computer. When you go back to the computer you were using it will see that that cookie on the old computer has expired and log you out.
