Barking Spiders
If all these ammo cans are getting destroyed, maybe the hider should do a better job of hiding them. What are we down to 93 ammo cans after all?
93 ammo cans hidden in the rocks, if one of the cans should be crunched, munched and scrunched then…….
Well, let’s be honest here, if one more can gets crunched, I think it’s time to archive this cache.

Maybe, the hider will just replace it with 92 Tupperware containers.
Way to sneak in another milestone Ken – congrats buddy!
My personal favorite is Amnicon Falls SP up by Superior. We stop in to walk along the falls every time we head north. Early spring is the most spectacular time to see the falls.
Did I mention there’s a geocache there too?
Thanks Dave, now we know who to blame…er..um..thank
I have a series that I placed in Nashwauk, Minnesota that are placed around my favorite ATVing trails.
Actually that does. If it’ll stay in that time frame, that’d be great.
Congrats to the new BOD and a big thank you to those who nominated/ voted for me.

Good suggestion. It is technically possible, but we’ve resisted sending out all kinds of email announcements because we didn’t want to be seen as spammers and contribute to the junk email problem. We also have no way for people to “opt out” of these broadcast emails at the moment.
I wouldn’t think it would be spam in this one instance. Write in the terms of registration that they’re gonna get a reminder come election time (lawyer hat) then they can’t complain – it’s part of the process.
They freely joined this organization, I don’t think it’s out of line to remind them one time to vote for it’s leadership. Maybe a friendly reminder would spur them to check on the WGA again.
If someone wants a couple, I have no need to have 8 coins, I’ll sell some of mine at cost.
This topic keeps popping up. If the majority wants change, then why don’t we make it a big contest? Have everyone submit ideas and put it to a vote?
I’m curious if it’s possible for the BOD to send those 933 WGA members an email telling them about the election and that it was time to vote. I don’t recall ever getting an email from the WGA other than private messages.
That’d be a way to get the membership more involved.
There’s parking all over the park except for the area north of highway 142 – that’s a hike-in area. If I’d take a guess, which is what I’m doing, I’d say there are 25 caches (givish or takish) in Bong SP.
Highway 142 cuts the park in half. Lots of multiple use areas to the south, so lots of parking lots. Brightendale Golf Course and a county park (with several caches) is bordered by highway 75 and 142.
There’s a parking lot on the northern end of the park to access the central caches. Still a bit of a hike – but worth the journey.
I’m thinking of the caches in Bong SP. I don’t think many would really be affected by snow cover. Most of mine are good to go. Most of Search4menow’s are good to go.
It’s been a while since I found the caches in the central part of the park (north of hwy 142) but it seems most should be accessible as well.
There’s A LOT of caches at Bong SP. I’m sure you’ll easily be able to snag 10 or 15.
I’d like to thank everyone in advance for voting! If you voted for me – great. I’m sure regardless of who wins this election, the WGA will be in very capable hands.
I hope to see you on the trails.
Now go brave the cold and find some of my new caches. -
