Did a little research and managed to make changes. I have included the template below for reference.
Modify your gpx_template.gpx in the templates directory to resemble the following:<% output_filename=spinner.gpx %>
version=”1.0″
creator=”GPX Spinner %version% – http://www.gpxspinner.com”
xmlns:xsi=”http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance”
xmlns=”http://www.topografix.com/GPX/1/0″
xmlns:topografix=”http://www.topografix.com/GPX/Private/TopoGrafix/0/2″
xsi:schemaLocation=”http://www.topografix.com/GPX/1/0 http://www.topografix.com/GPX/1/0/gpx.xsd http://www.topografix.com/GPX/Private/TopoGrafix/0/2 http://www.topografix.com/GPX/Private/TopoGrafix/0/2/topografix.xsd”>

All have been helpful in the past. So here’s another fun challenge. I have found Jingle Bell cache. But, it has become available, this time in a new place. When I do a querry and a new gpx file arrives, Jingle Bell Cache is not included in the file. Therefore, when I run gpx.spinner, the coordinates are not included, thus not uploaded to my gps.
I know I can input the coordinates directly to my gps, but I would rather not.
How do I edit the gpx_template.gpx template to include the Jingle Bell Coordinates each time I run gpx spinner?CHALLENGE!!!
Who will be the first to overlay the snow cover map with available Wisconsin Caches?Run the Install Tool from your Palmª Desktop directory.
2. Click Add, and add the CacheMate.prc file to your HotSync¨ list.
3. Add the MathLib.prc file as well, if you want to use the “nearest caches” and waypoint calculation features.
4. HotSync your Palm OS handheld.
5. Tap the CacheMate icon on your handheld to start the program.
6. Tap the New button to begin adding items to the database.oops. that was Macintosh spwak. Now for PC-shortcut of cmcobvert,
It seems to be, that when I installed cachemate, that cmconvert.exe appeared on the desk top as an alias.
Try going to http://www.smittyware.com/palm/cachemate/doc.php.
This might help.Hooray! Way to go Pharmteam!
My heart goes out to Ray and Hellen and family. So sorry to hear about your loss.
hmmm, ‘nuf said.
1) you have visited an area which you have not seen and probably never would have seen had it not been for geocaching.
2) you have gone to a geocaching event and visited with others.It all started last January when I ran out of nearby caches. The cache http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=48560 came into existence and, as they say, the rest is history. ps. I am thinking about adding goslings in the near future. Keep an eye on the cache.
56 meg seems like a lot. But, how much of that memory is used by the system and how much can actually be uploaded. While I am at it, does the color map actually mean that less information can be uploaded. And, can the present routable cd-rom maps be used on the new Garmins?
When Garmin makes a routable gps-r with a replaceable card and and uploads info with USB, then I will think about it.
BTW, Congrats on finding number 100!!
