One can not import a gpx file into Mapsource without doing a conversion. In the case described, the conversion is the gps.

    Yeah, what Jeff said.

GPS Visualizer (formerly SVGPS) is an on-line tool that was originally designed to create SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) images from tracklogs exported by Kjeld Jensen’s Cetus GPS program (for Palm OS).

In addition to Cetus .pdb files, GPS Visualizer now supports GPX track and waypoint files, OziExplorer track and waypoint files, Geocaching.com LOC files, IGC log files, tab-delimited tracklog files, and PathAway .pdb files (GPX is an XML format for GPS data; OziExplorer is a GPS application for Windows; IGC files come from the Flight Verification Units in sailplanes; PathAway is another Palm-based tracking program). The output from GPS Visualizer can be viewed in any Web browser — assuming you have installed Adobe’s free SVG Viewer plug-in — or edited in a vector graphics application such as Adobe Illustrator.

And, There’s your nutshell. Glad to help.

Oh!!! I believe that the hyperlinks are added by the admins when time is available. In the meantime, you can use geocaching.com and click on hide/seek link.

I h0pe I am not missing something here. The answer seems obvious, but then, sometimes, I have a tendancy to miss the obvious (see Where’s Waldo). Go to Wisconsin’s geocaching page http://wi-geocaching.com/ then click on the link ‘Cache of the Month’.

in reply to: How can i change a multi into several caches? #1745625

I was looking forward to doing this one the weekend of ‘the human cache’ as well. However,if Who want to Play Clue were changed similar to Cheeseheads trivia this would be a good alternative.

I emailed detailed html to you. You can also go to http://www.texasgeocaching.com/selector.asp. The Texas Geocaching Assoication link will help you out.

Just reread my own post….way too much information! This is a game. Do what you are comfortable with. It’s not the total that is done by the end of the day. It’s the fun you had and the new places you have seen.
