Just reloaded garmin V back to 2.08. Installed routable maps from city select and downloaded new waypoints. So, that’s all set. When I use mapsource to route from point A to Point B, it routes from my door step to the final destination. But when I route using only the gps it routes from the nearest main road (about .25 miles away) to the final point. Is this common?

As I tour some of the local parks I am seeing a lot of geese. Do you suppose they are also looking for the lost goslings?

Perhaps an admin (or someone) could notify a cache of the month winner. Include a link to the graphic along with instructions on how to include the graphic on the page.

Yeah. My route was straight downhill, and what a hill it was! Also had a fight with some barbed wire. Wire won, pants lost. Still, this is a great spobby (sport and hobby). smiles!

I am thinking about, perhaps, writing an article for submission to wigeocching newsletter regarding this cache and perhaps the first ten finders.
Something like, How did you discover geocaching, what was your first memorable experience while geocaching Pike Powder hike, suggestions for newbies, etc. Perhaps a few snapshots. Any pne interested in sharing?

I am very glad to have met the humans behind the geocaches. I take back all of the bad things I have muttered while searching for their caches. No, really, I do. Really.
I feel fortunate to have joined a group of people concerned about the environment and enjoying the sport of geocaching.
